In line with Stockholm 4 star bars and restaurants, the wine prices for non Swedes were eye-wateringly high. Beer and cocktails more affordable.

Absolutely beautiful hotel that has the most gorgeous interiors! The rooms are so homely and comfortable. The food in the main restaurant was delicious and the spa was also such a treat.

No kids dish without meat. Not even a pasta with tomato sauce?

Pool, large hot tub, and sauna. All the staff we encountered was first rate. We didn’t meet any of the owners or managers, but I’m sure they are fine. The location at the marina was fantastic for watching the boats and the people who live on them. The restaurant was excellent.

The main dining room, where you eat dinner and where the breakfast is as well, has a beautiful view of the archipelago. After all, the hotel itself has the perfect location right at the water. It’s very nice and quiet, but please note that will change dramatically during the summer months when Sandhamn is a bit of a party location. The regular rooms are on the small side, but well-appointed with everything you need. And best of all, the beds were really comfortable for me.

Nothing really, we spend one night and were really happy with our stay. However, if you want a large TV in your room, you might be disappointed. But then again, who goes to Sandhamn to watch TV? ;-)
