we have been to other places in this area before and the Rocky Point Resort is definitely an excellent choice, with a reasonable price and very good facilities. What might have helped us: we arrived on a Sunday and had the place almost for ourselves. Their busy days are Friday to Sunday, with a lot of people from Bangkok coming down for the weekend. we chose a poolside room which was very spacious - I enjoyed in particular the backdoor-outdoor rain shower which added to an already nice (and clean!) bathroom. the breakfast is simple, with cornflakes, delicious fresh fruits, instant coffee (as always), and a choice of three warm dishes (American breakfast (scrambled eggs/sunny-side up/omelette). we had once lunch (fried rice was very good) but I would definitely recommend to get out and around for some variety. the resort provides bicycles and it’s just fun to take them up and down the street (be careful/ no helmets). the swimming pool is nice with a baby/toddler section. all in all very pleasant stay and we felt sorry for leaving just after two nights, continuing our travel. the staff was very helpful and friendly, each and every person we met. Rocky Point is in the name for a reason, you have to walk 100 meters to either side for a (very nice) sandy beach. just in front of the resort it is: rocky.

The resort is absolutely beautiful, very relaxing and rejuvinating.

There are no food options anywhere near the resort. The resort itself only serves breakfast and doesn't have a restaurant otherwise. To get food for lunch or dinner we had to drive a long way each time which was quite tedious. This was the only pain point of this location.

Very beautiful and tranquil right by the sea. Lots of potential activities organized by the property. Good for a one night stay.

Only breakfast available, no second key to keep our pet under AC while we are gone to get food.

Disliked: I’ll have to give this some thought. Nothing really.

Very clean, comfortabke and well maintained houses. Very close to the sea but rocks in the water just in front of the resort so you have to walk 250 meter to reach the sandy beach.
