This was an unusual hotel because of the underground parking. There's no access to the rooms via stairs or elevator. You have to walk up the drive to the street and then you walk to the reception which is around the corner on another street. It's not a big deal unless you got a bit of luggage to carry but it's worth it because of the security of the parking. Other than that, the hotel itself is great. Nice rooms, staff is great with English being spoken. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of foods. No restaurant but that isn't a problem because take a left outside the door and a block up the street, it's filled with restaurants and shops.

The location was very convenient, right in the city centre and close to the main bus station. The personnel was polite and happy to help us. The breakfast was a classic italian, with plenty of sweet options and good coffee.

For a 4 stars hotel, the beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable. The rooms were not the most soundproof, we heard everybody crossing the hallway, and we were even troubled by some drilling during one day. We understand that is not a common habit to eat vegetables in the morning, but some options of this sort would have been highly appreciated.

This hotel is very nice and the location is great. It's right off the blocks long pedestrian mall that we thoroughly enjoyed. Many restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast was typical and good. The front desk crew was excellent. They arranged for our taxi request in a fine way.

The WiFi in our room was lousy. My iPhone would bounce from WiFi to data and eventually refust to connect to WiFi. Connecting my laptop was impossible unless I went to the lobby. That prevents a 10 rating.

The location is excellent, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was really good. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Honestly, this place deserves a higher rating than it has!

If I had to mention a few minor downsides, it would be that the room’s cooling system could have worked a bit better and cleaning could start a bit late so that guests could sleep a bit longer

Always when I visit Cosenza, I choose Royal Hotel. There are many things that explain my choice. first of all a very kind and professional staff. The Hotel is very well located next to the beautiful main pedestrian area of Cosenza. The rooms in the hotel are large, well organised, comfortable and quiet. The private parking at the hotel is very convenient. It is really a very good place!!

Very clean , nice size rooms , very quiet in the evening great breakfast ! The host at the front was fantastic! Helpful with advice and directions and spoke very well so that we understood . Helped us park the car in very busy circumstances! Hotel is a block away from fabulous restaurants bars cafes and shopping - definitely a hidden gem

Breakfast was great. Wide assortment of options. Room was clean and spacious.

We could hear noises from the room next door including coughing, talking, baby crying, etc. It is the reason we did not give the hotel a "ten". Otherwise, we were very pleased.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant, and thankfully spoke English. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and they offer a traditional Italian-style breakfast free of charge. The location is great - very close to Corso Mazzini, a strip with stores and restaurants.

Great value for money. Staff were wonderful, hospitable and very helpful. Breakfast was awesome! Can highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something in Cosenza that’s comfortable but doesn’t cost an arm and a leg!

Royal Hotel is simply the best place for a short or a long stay in Cosenza. First of all the staff is fantastic, then also the place and location, and the facilities including garage and a perfect espresso.
