It has an incredible view of the national park and was an hour away from a hike we intended to do. The apartment itself was cozy, clean and with a fully equipped kitchen. Very cute dog on the premises!

In our first night there was a family with a baby and a small kid in the apartment next to us and it was quite noisy. Unfortunately the walls do not appear to be soundproof. However, for the second night we had no problem and were able to fully recover from our long hike with a quiet night.

It was a beautiful place with a great view and a huge terrace for breakfast or an evening drink. The host was really friendly and offered a nice breakfast every morning. The rooms were really spacious and there was plenty of space for drying clothes, suitcases etc. It was our best stay in Sicily!

You had to ask the host to turn on the electricity in the washing machine and in the oven. However, it was not a problem once we figured it out. The equipment in the apartment was not modern, but everything worked.

The view is breathtaking. The host is great, very responsive and hospitable. The apartment was comfortable, big and clean. Very peaceful and around 10 minutes by car away from the nearby village of Castelbuono which we loved so much. Breakfast with a beautiful view, weather permitting.

Maybe another pillow per person should be provided in the rooms. And the shower is not consistent with the hold/cold water and the pressure. Otherwise everything was great.

What can I say, apart from simply falling in love with the place. Beautifully located, very quiet with that unique atmosphere I am looking for. People there (not only the staff) are very nice. You get a lot of parking space and you're very close to beautiful mountains, the sea... If you're on a motorcycle, this is a place to stay for a few days and ride around Sicily. I highly recommend it!

A good place if you are looking for a calm spot, amazing views from the terrace! Total disconnection. The flats are simple but fully functional and something that I really loved was the possibility to actually make it dark - only place like that during our 3 weeks in sicily - as the sun if getting up early, this was appreciated!

Beautiful location - located in the national park amongst lovely surroundings. The host family were very kind and welcoming. A very large room which had everything we needed and was very clean although a bit dated

We felt the breakfast was poor - no juice, fruit or butter and the coffee was weak, lukewarm instant coffee

Nice accommodation, excellent location and views! Owners are really friendly and Castelbuono is a charming town. We loved the landscape of the Madonie region and did some hiking.

Even though well equipped, the apartments are somewhat sober and not very cosy. It was not a big issue though, the views and location make up for it.

What an incredible place! We originally booked 1 night but extended it since we loved it so much. The place was huge, and in the the forest outside of town overlooking the mountains, fresh clean air and very peaceful. The apartment is one large room with a loft so the beds are upstairs, but open to the kitchen and living room. There is also a front terrace as well as a public terrace to eat on. We were with a baby of 1,5 years old so we had a crib and our bed upstairs in a loft but there was another bed downstairs and a gate at the top of the stairs for the baby. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the whole apartment was super clean and comfy! Breakfast was great which included croissants, baked goods, coffee, fruits, and the best of all was the service. Letizia was incredible - super nice, very accommodating and made our stay so special. The location is very close driving to Castelbuono, about 5-10 minutes on a small mountain road, and right in nature, also close to some hiking trails. Thanks so much, we loved it there!

Everything was great for us to be honest.

Lovely typical Sicilian country house in the most wonderful surroundings. Easily accessible by car. Velinda and her father are wonderful hosts. Ideal for families and older persons with reduced mobility.

This was a simple property beautifully located in the forests. We received a very warm welcome from lovely hosts.

The weather was quite cold and the room felt too cool at times even with the heating on.
