Here is the list: - the pillows are very small - you can barely put your head on it. I have missed the option to have two pillows for the example - beds are super comfy - in means soft, those of us who like more solid beds won't sleep well - slightly outdated hotel, rooms will slowly need renovation, including the lift - parking is only payable, hotel doens't own parking

Room was nice. Restaurant was lovely with a great free breakfast. As usual, there were no top sheets (that is everywhere in Europe). The hotel is just outside a lovely square to wander around and not far from the cathedral. Be aware they don’t have “regular” TV; they only have casting TVs and the rooms near can interrupt your Nexflix and turn on to theirs. And after spending $250 the night before in Honningsvag for similar lodging, the price seemed like a steal.

That the windows don’t open enough to get a breeze. That it is not possible to get live TV (the news); all it would take is a $30 antenna.

The staff was very professional and solved the problem we had at check in. The manager did his best to arrange for us same level hotel in neighbourhood just few minutes walk

We were with a pet and after arrival we find out that there is no available rooms to stay with pet. The information about the way to order rooms with pets must be much more informative not avoid possibility for misunderstanding Should be more information about parking possibilities

Very stylish and comfortable hotel in the heart of Alta. We arrived just after the restaurant closed but the very friendly reception staff gave us recommendations for nearby places still open. The room was amazing - it felt like a rustic log cabin but was very well equipped - not at all like the outside of the hotel would lead you to expect. Its location is very central - just beside a large car park in the centre of town and a couple of minutes walk to the shops and cathedral.

The lifts and hallways are a little tired and could use a refresh but the main areas - the reception areas and rooms and the bar/restaurant are top notch.

The crew.. the kindness of the crew was one of a kind. I am traveling a lot. Everyone in this hotel was so helpful and heartwarming. Thanks, Martinia, for the clothes for my baby. The breakfast was not big but with as much as you will need. The mattress was OK. The bathroom was nice.

The rooms need more lights. It wasn't enough. The superior room for three was small for 3 people and a baby. The pillows were so soft that they vanished when you lay.

Great location, comfortable room and lovely staff. We had a nice meal in the restaurant. Good food fair prices for this part of the world! Make sure you make a reservation. Incredible breakfast with room! Parking very near by. Thanks to Tess and the team!

I am not a fan of app based check-in or phone based menu ordering in the restaurant. It's convoluted, painful and dehumanises the process. I really disliked it.

Great Hotel in the heart of the city of ALTA. Very big room and bathroom, very kind, helpfull and poilte staff. A huge public (paid) parking is almost in fromt of the hotel. Breakfast excellent (with notes of quality like salmon and french chease). I will right also something kinda fanny. There are many people that complain for the sockets in a hotel room, and some times they have right. This hotel was a PARADISE for them. I counted (really) 14 sockets!!!! You can charge whatever you like!!!

Alomst nothing

We enjoyed a lot the stay at Canyon Hotell. Well-placed in the downtown of Alta. It is possible to reach the main attractions (Alta Museum, Amtmannsnes Rockcarvings, KomsaToppen, Attabakken) by walking, very nice walks in the nature, surrounded by mountain, sea and snow! We were able to see the northen lights walking in the nght on the ski paths! The hotel is supercomfortable, a great breakfast. Possibility to book the sauna for a relaxing evening (do it at least 30 min before!)

This is our second time staying here. I will write a review again. :-) The hotel is centrally located, the room and bathroom are clean and well equipped. The breakfast was plentiful. Everything is very close, e.g. grocery store, shopping center, bakeries... *****

Friendly staff. Big, comfortable room with a big bed. Location in the center of town. The hotel also offers a discount voucher for many of the good restaurants nearby.

Way too many messages by email before and after your stay about extras, check in, check out, ratings... You need to do a lot of work online filling out forms before you can stay here. There's no free parking but you can park nearby in a public parking lot.
