Beautiful area with direct access to a lovely pool. We visited the castle for breakfast one morning and it was really fun to hang out and eat in a restored legitimate castle. The staff was amazing, responsive, and made sure we got to climb the castle tower for the view.

No air conditioning was tough with how hot it was, but the staff gave us an extra fan to help out. The beds were pretty uncomfortable, but not particularly surprising. The utensils and kitchen paraphernalia were hit and miss, so if you plan to do much cooking in, be flexible.

Great accommodation in an old caste which was over 1,000 years old. The staff were really friendly, and we went for the half board option which provided the room, breakfast and a fabulous 4 course authentic Italian dinner. We just had to pay for our drinks. The property also had an arrangement with a nearby villa that you could pay 6 euros per person and get access to a large pool.

The room was very hot as we were there in the middle of summer. There was no air-conditioning in the room (which is listed in hotel description) however they did supply a fan.

rooms were big, staff were very very friendly and accomidating. We were a large group and they called three nights in a row to different restaurants to book us (a group of 25) a reservation. The view is amazing and very peaceful here. The pool is warm and everything was very clean. It was a nice surprise to have shampoo and conditioner in our rooms as well.

Location was abit far but it was cheap to rent a car to get there. When we checked out the fees for breakfast and pool use were a little mixed up because of being a big group so that was a little frustrating. We did figure it out but it took a lot of time which we weren't expecting. - wished we could use the pool after 7pm but I understand it is a shared facility.

You are literally staying in a castle on top of a glorious mountain in Umbria, not much more to say that can capture how beautiful the scenery is in this stunning medieval castle. The optional dinner and breakfast were excellent in all ways, quality, taste, quantity and value. The staff were fantastic! All exceptionally welcoming, warm and knowledgeable.

The property needs some maintenance and upgrades to get back to its glory days, although it is a medieval castle so one has to take that into count.

Staying in a castle was amazing. The driveway and view are breathtaking. Quiet and felt like we had the place to ourselves. Great communication with staff through what's app. Our fridge broke on day one and they fixed it within an hour. Easy to book horse back riding and pool time. Enjoyed using the ping pong table and exploring the castle. - staff (Marco and Gianmarco) went over and above to make sure all of us (25 ppl) were comfortable, taken care if and even recommended and booked us dinners out.

- the way they kept track of extras (breakfast, dinner, pool use). We were a big family traveling together and when we went to check out we all got over charged for things we didn't use. Then we got yelled at when we questioned it so we just paid it. They need a better tracking system for this stuff. - some famy members complained about their child beds but wenhad foam ones and they were very comfy.

1 Nice experience for staying at a castle 2 you can visit the tower anytime; very nice at night watching the stars in the sky 3 very very good dinner 4 swimming pool - you need the pay extra 6 euro per person and you need to drive 9 min, however it is very worth to visit as it is very clean in beautiful landscape and views 5 double room for 4 adults is just okay size wise, as we booked it for 2 days only. All facilities are available, with separate bathroom.

The castle is amazing and very good value Thw rooms are bigger then originally thought. Nice hot showers and great bathrooms. Beautiful long driveway. We needed cribs for the littles and they were set up and ready to go when we got there. Our fridge stopped working and they fixed it in less then an hour. Highly recommend.

The way they keep track of breakfast and pool use though we were a big group so I understand it's hard. Some of us had coil beds which weren't comfy some had foam which were very comfy.

The location has an authentic historic feeling to it and is run in a very friendly atmosphere with a very engaged team 👍 I very much recommend the dinner with homemade courses as well as the breakfast, where the cake selection really stole my heart 🫶. And my personal highlight was that I could take the narrow winding stairs to the tower any time I wanted to enjoy the fantastic view of the surrounding mountains!

Oh my days what an amazing place to stay!! Huge castle with lovely rooms still kept to the original castle style. Huge grounds with lots of facilities, amazing views from the castle grounds and the main tower which you can go all the way to the top. Host was extremely helpful with our late checking in/self check in via whats app they made the whole process foolproof and very welcoming. Would recommend a stay here just for the experience and the views alone!! We stayed here on our way to san marino and found it a pleasant drive to and fro. The castle too.

Nothing the whole place is magical

The location which was only 20 minutes from Perugia Airport. The meal that evening was excellent. Sitting in the courtyard was just beautiful, so much so that we have booked again in October.

Slight miscommunication about the meal - I think that this was a language issue, as I was asked if I wanted to share with my wife which I took to mean that we would have one meal between two. This wasn't the case so I am not sure what that actually meant. Still it didn't affect our lovely stay.
