Best place to stay in Churchilll by far. The house was absolutely charming, well stocked with everything you need and more. We baked cookies one night without having to buy anything for it. Felt like we were right at home the instant we walked thru the door. Very accommodating and flexible to have access to the house with the train arrival and departure times. The shared accommodation makes the stay even more enjoyable as you get to share your experiences with other people and have great conversations. Thanks D and D from Victoria, you were awesome roommates! Great location, everything is within walking distance to the train station and all the tour operators. I stayed at Bears Den for a 2 day work trip, while my colleague stayed in the other Bears Den. I have travelled extensively throughout the world, and I have to say that this accommodation was one of the best equipped that I have ever stayed at and exceeded my expectations. It was newly renovated with beautiful appliances, furnishings and comfortable beds. It wasn't lacking anything from soaps to kitchen items to laundry detergents. Not one thing was overlooked, including reusable grocery bags in the front foyer, and flashlights on the night stand. My train didn't leave until the evening and the hosts were very generous and allowed me to have a late checkout. Communication with them was fast and easy. The internet was excellent too! Everything was perfect and I highly recommend this apartment when staying in Churchill and I will stay there for sure during my next business trip.

The Bears Den Guest House is a home away from home. It is well stocked with every dish, pot and appliance. It’s impeccably clean, and decorated to reflect the community you’re in. Easy to get to, easy to get around and coming back at the end of the day feels like coming home! A treasure!!

I appreciated how well kept it was, how clean everything was, laundry services were available. It has a really homey feel!

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I'd arrived home, and after nearly 3 days in the train, that was just the feeling I was looking for. Lynn had already advised me there would be tea and coffee available for me to help myself, and when Kyle (her son) arrived home, I felt so relaxed and as though Of known him for years. Bear's Den is so beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and the layout design allows the energy to flow positively throughout. All the rooms, including the bathroom and kitchen, are spacious, with 'cosy toes' carpets in the bedrooms. Kyle went out of his way to include me in the local community and introduced me to Drew, who does the Northern Lights wait list. Not only that, but Kyle took me out sledding across frozen lakes at night through the Boreal Forest, where I had such fun and had an experience I'll never forget. I feel like I gained a younger brother in Kyle, and I honestly cannot recommend Bear's Den highly enough.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this home from home.

I am so beyond thrilled to have found the Bear's Den Guest House in Churchill. My stay could not have been better. It offers everything, and more, than I could have thought of or wanted. Amazingly kind and helpful communication with Lynn before my stay, a really wonderful and helpful host (thanks Kyle!) and the ever-so-comfortable and cozy living spaces (I want those couches), and incredibly well-outfitted kitchen, perfect location for exploring the town and meeting locals, it also gave me the very special opportunity to, as much as is possible in just a visit, feel like a part of this great community. A true home away from home. I just hope it's available whenever I come back. And return I definitely will. Thanks again!

This is the best guest house in Churchill. We had 8 great days here and the Bears Den was perfect in every way. Lots of space even with other guests. Great cooking options and equipment. Quiet street and just the best location for everything. We will be returning and staying here again.

Could use one half bath to provide a second toilet. With six people that is the only drawback. But it won’t stop us from staying again.

We recently returned from a 5 day stay in Churchill. We feel we were very fortunate to have selected Bears Den to stay as the place is exceptional. It is nicely appointed, clean, well located and has everything you need. Based on conversations with other travelers staying at other hotels we feel we made the right choice.

It felt like home and we were made to be very welcome straight away, including being able to use the washing machine and left over food from the cupboards! The location was in the centre of town and very close to the beach, for whale spotting. We were lucky enough to have the guest house to ourselves but even sharing it with other guests would have been great. Excellent value for money when staying in Churchill.

We had a whole 3-bedroom house to ourselves for the 3-night stay, which was very comfortable. It has excellent facilities - shower, TV, full kitchen, fireplace, comfortable living room and bedroom. It is within walking distance to the train station and all the town amenities. Breakfast is self-prepared.

Make sure you get the door access code before you arrive. Also, be mindful that you may have to share the house with other renters, in which case it will be a shared washroom/living room/kitchen arrangement

The hosts were very accommodating, always friendly and wanting to help us enjoy our time. Drinks and home made cookies and cake were always on offer. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was different each day and always good and plenty of it.
