Staff, the breakfast, and toiletries are amazing! The rooms were clean with a design of retro-vintage-modern. It is a very mellow family friendly property.

Forte di Marmi is really an expensive place so I don't think you can find an reasonably priced hotel anywhere. However for the price we paid for the hotel gym to be so bad was disappointing. In general things felt out of date.

Not only did we fall in love with the town, but with Hotel Hermitage in particular. The location was amazing and was in bike riding distance of everything you need. We loved the breakfast and waking up to the beautiful scenery that surrounds the property. Marta and Genardo took care of us the whole stay and were very friendly and accomodating. Genardo has lived in Forte Dei Marmi for many years and had some excellent restaurant recommendations. The beds were super comfy as well and our rooms were made up fresh everyday.

The receptionist Antionetta was the sweetest!

We have been to this hotel many times in the past and have always had a great affection for the place. It has in the relatively recent past changed management and a lot of the old staff have left with the very notable exception of Gennaro on Reception, who is the beating heart of the place. We all found the staff to be helpful and polite particularly Sonia and of course Gennaro.

Our room could have been a little bigger and with a much better view (we overlooked roof tops and the fire escape) at the back of the hotel.

THE GARDENS WERE GORGEOUS AND THE BREAKFAST VERY GOOD, LOCATION FINE WHEN YOU HAVE A BIKE

THE POOL AREA AND A VERY DATED CHILDRENS PLAY AREA, LOOK VERY OUT OF PLACE. THE PRICES IN THE BAR WERE RIDICULOUS, AS A RESORT IT'S EXPENSIVE BUT A WINE GLASS OF BEER FOR 10 EURO FELT LIKE A RIP OFF

The staff is so welcoming , the atmosphere around hotel , the green garden and very quiet area. And they were so friendly with our small dog Big rooms

The pool area could be better, more choices for eggs included in breakfast , like fx omelette or fried egg.

Breakfast was the typical continental offering of cereal & pastries, with a hot plate offering of bacon, sausage & egg. For an extra charge you could order a cooked option from a menu, however we thought the standard offering was more than adequate.

There is nothing not to like at this hotel.

The property is located in a very quiet part of Forte dei Marmi and sits on unusually large green grounds. The rooms were large and well appointed. All members of staff were extremely helpful and responsive to any need or request.

A larger gym was expected.
