The managers were really cool people, which is great because it is a small town so we bumped into each other a few times. The accommodation is very charming and secure. The huge bed is very comfy, the lake view is so beautiful to wake up to and there's a little enclosed balcony with a nice street view too. The town is on the side of the crater so there are stairs and hills and I think it adds to the charm. Plenty of space for luggage, good water pressure and good wifi. I really loved staying here and I would again. I am a woman travelling a alone so sometimes I feel a little uneasy in places but I felt very safe here. It is accessible by public transport

Nothing, it was perfect

The location is great for visitors who want to be right in the historical part of Nemi, and Ian, the host, was exceptionally kind and helpful. He is also quite knowlegeable about local attractions and contacts for tour guides, etc. I love antique furniture, and the master bedroom was a treat! The bathroom was also stylish.

I suppose it could have been set up better for those who travel with the expectation of getting some work done, but there are plenty of places in Nemi where you can sit with a laptop and also enjoy lakeside views and a snack. The rooms were a little dark, but that has the benefit of keeping them cool, so it's an acceptable tradeoff.

A very welcoming host. A magnificent room - actually more like a junior suite! A large room with a sofa and table, then a large bedroom with a comfortable bed (clean sheets, of course!) and a bathroom. Plenty of clean towels, too. The hosts own the restaurant below, which offers an excellent menu. We had a good meal and a peaceful night's sleep.

There was nothing we did not like. It was a lovely apartment.

Lovely host who welcomed us at the entrace of the hotel/restaurant. The room was based on an historic building with a small view of the lake. We had dinner at the the joint hotel which was also of great quality. 10/10 experience!

Big rooms, clean and in a central location. Very communicative and kind host. Quick responses and help whenever we had a question or some need, like a taxi that he helped to book for our departure day.

Ian and the rest of the staff were exceptional. Nemi is a fantastic village. The restaurant was first class with the biggest pizza I have ever seen.

Only staying one night

Cute suite for our family, located right in the center and close to everything. The owner was incredibly helpful when we had a problem with our car.

The beds could be a little more comfortable.

Wonderful location overlooking the sunken crater. Being able to secure my bike in the garage. The owners have a great restaurant, Essential you have a meal here - just wonderful and a great welcome after a long days travel.

Having to leave early and only having one night to stay

The property is at the heart of the ancient little town of Nemi, with astonishing views of Lago di Nemi. Our host and his wife were very charming and helpful, and their restaurant serves delicious food.
