Absolutely top class. I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in the town of Roros. It is unique, never have. I stayed somewhere so historic but was the modern facilities. Definitely recommend this as a must place to visit. There was so much history and the historic buildings. Just wow factor the staff at the hotel also made the stay so memorable. It's one of those moments in time. You won't forget

There was nothing I didn't like. It was brilliant. In fact I was very sad to leave.

The breakfast was good, the coffee was just ok. The automatic machine is a little well automatic. A fresh brew or barrister would be better. The location was excellent and the surrounds. The lift was not available to guests and only to staff.

Overall, the bed was too soft and pillows too soft. The mattress sagged in the middle and felt unsupported leaving after 5 days with a sore back and neck. Being on the second floor was good except we couldn't use the lift. Both of us are 67 and our knees are not what they use to be and after a 10-12 km hike, the stairs were the biggest challenge.

Great location in a historic building in the heart of Roros. Wonderful breakfast, and we had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant one night.

The facilities, while clean and practical for our purposes, were very basic. We expected that, given the advertising, so there were no surprises. The whole town tends to be on the expensive side.

Rooms are located in authentic old wooden buildings in the historic centre of Roros. Very comfortable one-night stay, good breakfast. Easy access to railway station, mining museum and town walking tour.

Experienced slight drama re storing our bags as we were there on a Sunday and office closed at 1pm. When we couldn't get luggage storage at the station, the hotel eventually offered us a solution.

Everything - starting from the location, the surrounds, the so friendly staff, the delicious food … we totally recommend going there. We loved sitting outside, having a coffee and feeling like being in the past ! We felt very warm welcomed every single moment, we got information about the village, the building and I recommend having dinner there : the fish is absolutely incredible!

Røros is a village of character and this hotel compliments the village with its informal layout and repurposing of its buildings the hotel was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant from a fine menu and needless to say the meals were first class. Last but not least were the staff who could not have been more helpful. Superb

An amazing hotel. It was -36 Celsius and we felt warm and cozy! The staff were so nice and had our kids throwing hot water outside to freeze in the air! Make sure you eat in their restaurant as it is exceptional. It is right in the middle of town too. Would highly recommend, especially for a family of 6. We had our own little area of rooms so we didn't have to worry about being noisy!

very nice and spacious room and the combination to use the Spa at Hotel Roros is great (same owner). Staff very flexible and served breakfast while we arrived well beyond the ending time for serving breakfast

This hotel is located in a very special town. It has a unique charm because of the location and decor. However, for us what made our stay so special was how helpful the staff were. We had a problem with our luggage and they ensured that it was sorted with no fuss.

Excellent location in the historic center. Our comfortable and charming apartment was located in an old wooden house. The restaurant is offering high class food a good choice of wines and beer from a local brewery.

Mattresses a little too soft for me.
