After hours of driving in roadworks on the A1, Elbe Tunnel and the 7 highway I looked for a less traveled road to get me to Denmark. I ended up in Meldorf and this hotel in the center of a beautiful village. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel including a large room was very clean and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable room price and very good. I couldn't ask for a better stay. I will return on my next trip through the area.

It is a bit outdated with regards to the furniture and general decoration

hotel located in the pitoresque middle of the small town Meldorf. next to the large church / cathedral. Cosy atmostphere, nice restaurant and quiet place to stay.

clean, comfortable, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff

Perfect hotel for solo traveller. You stay in the town center. Great restaurant with tasty breakfast and great variety in the menu for dinner. I always found parkplace right near the hotel.

It was all good and as you would like it to be. The staff is helpful and friendly. Food is very good and tasteful.

The hotel was quiet & the staff were very nice. Breakfast was well catered. The hotel parking is very limited on a first come first served basis but parking is available in the square adjacent to the hotel.
