this is a wonderful hotel at the northern part of the archaeological park of Paestum. The owners/proprietors are super friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are gorgeous, the hotel is conveniently located 5mins away from Porta Aurea bus station for all those without cars who wantt o quickly go to Agropoli, Accioli or further. It is situated on a street with plenty of high end restaurants and the early mornings are magical. Everything is clean, air condition works a treat. And if you ask - as guest here - you can get a 10 percent discount on the adjacent Marechiaro fine dining restaurant which is truly superb.

we all really liked this place. clearly the nicest on the northern edge of the archaeological park by a distance. Only downside, but not teh fault of the hotel, is the fact that that street is rather busy until later. But if you have your windows closed (which is recommended anyway due to the mosquitoes), it won't disturb your sleep much.

The hotel is like an English country hotel, beautifully run and beautifully looked after. It is in a very good location not too far from the railway station and right by the archaeological park Our room was on the second floor looking out over the park and was very comfortable, with a modern good sized bathroom with new large towels. We were blown away by how kind, attentive and helpful Piero the manager and all his staff were. This level of hospitality is what makes the real difference between a hotel and B&B. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant (although they do a very good continental breakfast) but there is a very good choice of restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Staying at the Hotel dei Templi put us in absolutely the right frame of mind to fully appreciate Paestum with its temples and museum. And the hotel was very reasonably priced. We would recommend staying there unreservably.

Nothing. We were more than satisfied.

The Hotel is in a historic building acrosss from the temple park. Its on a side street about 1.5 blocks from a public parking area. The street the hotel is on, is a pedistrian street with some amazing restaurants right outside the front door. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and the breakfast was a full service meal. The hotel is beautifully decorated with an amazing restoration. The main Museo and Park front entrance is about a 4-5 block walk from the hotel. Loved staying here and would definately do it again.

Loved all of it. We visited during a festival so parking was a challenge, but we were able to enjoy the festival as well as the temples and history. The town itself is so sweet and be prepared to experience "Magna Grecia'. In spite of being a tourist destination, don't expect people to speak english.

The friendliness and politeness of the staff really made us feel welcome. The breakfast was very good and the location really excellent: just a few minutes walk from the archaeological park, many restaurants and cafes at the door and quite handy to walk to the station too!

I wish the room had a bigger window, but we got the attic room. Bathroom also with no window.

Located on a lovely street right by the ruins. The breakfast was lovely - best coffee of our trip so far - and table service in the shade out the front of the hotel. The room was clean with decent air con. The sofa bed was comfortable (shared by two 5’4 teenagers) Friendly staff.

Nothing.

- The room was very comfortable. - The hotel is close to many restaurants and the archaeological site. - The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. - Breakfast included coffee/tea, yogurt and croissants. - A heater was supplied as the weather (and subsequently the room) was very cool at the time of our visit.

There were two issues during our stay that were beyond the control of the owner and staff: 1. Wifi was not available in the room. However the owner made every effort to contact the supplier and/or a technician to address this. 2. The hot water tank (boiler) failed on the afternoon before we were to leave. Again, a plumber was not available as it was a Sunday. Not an issue, but be aware that there is no lift/elevator. However staff was helpful with carrying our bags up the stairs.

We loved the double connecting bedroom for o7r family of 4. The 2 bathrooms were an added bonus. The amazing views of Paestum from the windows were definitely an added plus. Location is perfect within an easy walk to the gates of the ruins. There is no parking outside of the hotel but a public parking is very close by. I would definitely recommend Hotel dei Templi.

The B&B is conveniently located for visiting the ruins. The building itself has a lot of character whilst equipped with all modern conveniences, like an excellent airco. Rooms are clean and bright. Staff is professional, breakfast outside is simple but pleasant.

Next door to the B&B are a couple of bars - the only ones in the distant area. Expect loud music until way after midnight.

Very clean room. Nice windows.

There was a sewage smell in the stairway and hallway. It did not pervade the room though. And it seems this may be a problem for other places in Paestum, so it may just be a local infrastructure problem. But open windows in the stairway and/or some other circulation may have helped to alleviate the unpleasant oder. It was not present 100% of our stay, but it was there long enough on two days.

Beautiful building and furnishings, reception staff very responsive, good breakfast

No wifi signal in the room - staff unable to do anything about it. They simply need more wifi boosters, because it was fine in the hallways, but absolutely non-existent in the room. Luckily I had a large data package, but this issue needs to be fixed.
