We were upgraded to something like a junior suite and the room was absolutely amazing. We had a 1.5 yo with us so the space for our son to run around was great. The bed was so very comfortable and the pillows!! I usually get back or neck ache when sleeping in hotels but Amara's bed and pillows were absolutely perfect, not too soft not too hard. They have a pillow menu too but the standard pillow was already perfect for me. Special thanks to Ms Sinnie Lv at the front desk for the amazing service and enthusiasm. Ms Lv even provided us some chocolates and macarons for the trip to the airport. And Ms Carrie Sun was our housekeeper who was so thoughtful and left us extra water everytime (for the baby) and always kept our room neat and tidy. Amara's hospitality is truly on another level and I hope to stay here again. We felt very well taken care of. We also had Executive lounge access, which had afternoon tea and happy hour everyday! The food changes every day, and there were laksa, xiao long bao, and fried rice when we were there. They also served fruits and bread, which was perfect for feeding our toddler. Made feeding our child so easy and convenient without having to leave the hotel at all. There's beer, coffee, tea, juice and even milk. Hope they can keep this up. The lounge is spacious and clean and very comfortable. Gym was also important to us and it was well equipped. There's a drop off area at the entrance so calling Didi was very convenient. We got everywhere with Didi.

We traveled to Shanghai for a family vacation and stayed at Amara for the second time. We were again amazed about their excellent service. Firstly, all the staff (at the entrance, the reception, the cleaners Ms. Li as well at the lounge) were very helpful. For example Ms. Linda Ma/Mei Jie of the BLU restaurant (breakfast) was very children friendly and helped us a lot. Secondly but maybe also coincidentally, we were surprised that some of our feedback from our last stay was remembered. For example, on our last stay, we changed the hotel rooms temperature to a rather high level and this time the hotel room was exactly set to the room temperature we had on our last stay. Also the last time, we requested to have a manual for the air-condition and this time there was actually a manual provided on the AC-controller. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next stay in Shanghai.

The whole hotel gave me a very good feeling. The hotel gave me free access to the executive lounge, and the scenery was very nice. Manager Evan provided excellent service Because I am not familiar with Shanghai, Jerry also introduced me to many fun attractions and shopping malls. Thank you very much When I left, he also gave me a small cake, which was delicious and worth recommending. The chubby chef's scallion oil mixed noodles were super delicious! I will come back to Shanghai again next time.

All the staff are amazing even the cleaners When I got sick , the receptionist gave me free medication. Every body speak english . The extra bed was not comfortable when I informed them , they made a solution. Free access to the lounge , and special thanks for the loung manager.

Hotel is very well equipped, staff very friendly and the food is delicious. With staff like Chef Solomon, and security personnel like Master Liu, everyone was friendly and helpful. Big thank you to Una from the executive lounge - she is very friendly and assisted us with everything we needed. 10/10 service.

Hotel is very nice, clean, great location, service. The staff are speaks English, very kind and helpful. Hotel is very close to metro station, lots of coffee shop and restaurant nearby.

The room was superb, the bathroom was huge , have bidet was a plus sign. Bath tub was big, location not in the centre or tourist attraction but manageable by taxi. Breakfast was not on our side cos no indication of anything was halal but we just ate fruits and cakes. Overall was a good stay

There isn’t ever anything negative I could say about this property. I wish I could pack it in my suitcase and take it around the world with me how amazing the staff are and welcoming very warm. This is my second time staying here and I can’t think of a better place to be while in Shanghai or China at that! Una, Lucy, Eva, Solomon, Chen long, Brothet lice and the amazing Concierge Zero! The staff goes above and beyond for their visitors and being in such a foreign place like China as a solo traveler, I can’t thank them enough for the safety and comfort that they provide for me every time I stay at this hotel! Very modern and clean hotel. We specifically enjoyed our room facilities and a complimentary lounge access. Really nice breakfast.

The view is not so breathtaking as from other hotels closer to river, but it´s still wort it
