The room was so incredibly charming, with a view I had not expected and a private terrace. Luca is one of, if not the kindest and most hospitable host we have ever encountered. He gave us the warmest welcome and went out of his way to make our stay feel special and celebratory. The room has everything you need, the bed was so comfortable and the evening was quiet. A beautiful breakfast was laid out for us in the morning, with every attention to detail - Luca treated us like friends. We were sad to leave this very special b&b.

I was little suspicious because having all these great reviews seemed impossible. But, seriously, everything appeared to be true. I can’t figure any better accommodation experience. Perfect place, very clean and beautiful rooms, amazing views right from the room and balcony. Plus, wines, aperitive food and breakfast, incredible. Not to mention the most welcoming, caring and heart warming host Luca. This is a heaven on earth. The price is ridiculous compared to what you get.

The B & B is located in a hilly and very nice neighborhood. The views are spectacular! It served as a great home base for exploring many nearby villages. The breakfast was amazing! It included both savory and sweet. The quality of food was very good. There was nothing lacking. Lucca is the Best!

Absolutely nothing

Our experience at La Sismonda was way beyond remarkable. The views when you're arriving are impressive and the town's vibe is great and very peaceful. When you get there you feel very welcomed by Luca, who is the perfect host. He's very kind and friendly, and he's always willing to help you and make your stay remarkable. The place has one of the best views in the area, overlooking the entire region and giving you a nice outlook of what you will enjoy in Le Langhe: beautiful Medieval towns, vineyards and thrilling landscapes. If you're into photography, this will be a plus. If you're lucky enough to get rooms 1 and/or 2, they offer the best view of the hotel and have a private balcony where you can enjoy a drink or take very nice photos of the region. The balcony is shared between the 2 rooms. The day we arrived Luca invited us to an "aperitivo" that ended up being one of the best hospitality and eating experiences we've had in our lives. We tried many different Italian dishes and wines from the region. It was just amazing. This was a very huge plus to our stay there, as we were not expecting this. Breakfast is very good and varied and with a view. The whole experience was just so good that we definitely will come back. Thank you Luca!

One of the best places in Europe I have ever stayed!! Simply stunning! Location is perfect, room is very nice and clean, the view is spectacular and the host Luca is like your best friend and part of your family. Been to Italy dozens of times, however never I have seen such pleasant hospitality and such warm welcome. Luca, you are the best!!! Bravo 👍👍👍

What a wonderful stay. Luca is a fantastic host, so generous and friendly, he made us very welcome and treated us to an incredible aperitivo, with an absolute passion for the foods and wine of the region. He recommended and booked the local restaurant for our dinner, as his restaurant was not open the nights we stayed. The breakfast supplied was an extremely generous array of foods, fruits, yoghurts, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, coffees made to request. And served on the beautiful terrace with stunning views.

Amazing B&B! We just finished a one month trip in Italy and this place was a top highlight. Luca, the owner arranged an amazing wine tasting for us along with charcuterie and cheese selection. The breakfast was equally as amazing. Be sure to checkout Luca’s restaurant Il Faro just a few minute walk away. The rooms were very nicely featured with an amazing view over the Barolo wine and mountains in the background. There is parking directly across from the property. They allow dogs as well and our pouch loved being able to relax in the grass after days of traveling. I will make a point of making another trip this direction just to stay here again.

We made the mistake of only booking one night in the area and they were fully booked when I tried to book an additional nights stay.

I usually don't write reviews, but this time I have to do it! Luca is such a warm-hearted, kind and gentle soul with a 110% focus on service, always trying to give you the very best experience possible. The rooms are big, clean, with very good standard and with views to die for. The hotel is smack in the middle of the Barolo wine route. Thank you Luca, see you again!

The breakfast was really outstanding with a very great choice, worth a 4 star hotel. Moreover it was served on the terrace overlooking the beautiful landscape. The host was really exceptional and always willing to help. I fully recommend La Sismonda and hope to return soon.
