I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. What stood out most was the location — it’s right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore local attractions, restaurants, and shops, all within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional service in a central location. I’ll definitely be returning!

The location is perfect, all the best restaurants, parks and landmarks are at a walking distance. The fortress is rather far but that's OK, it itself is a whole district a bit away from the city centre. The staff is kindhearted, friendly and helpful.

The walls are a little too thin, the audibility is as if next door people are in your room. We couldn't sleep in the morning as someone woke up way too early. And the washbasin's very high. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Daugavpils is neither the prettiest Latvian town nor most visited, considering all this HomeLike Hotel is doing very well in terms of facilities, staff, breakfast and location. It's really the only game in town. Yes, there is a big soviet type hotel few hundred meters away, but no need to bother with it -- stick to HomeLike.

No elevator -- so older guests who have trouble climbing stairs should ask for the first floor rooms.

The hotel is located in a very convenient place for visiting local restaurants, shopping centers, and sightseeing locations. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. The booked room was spacious, tidy, and had a great view from the balcony. Breakfast was good (I especially enjoyed the pancakes) and could be enjoyed at a convenient time.

Central location, free parking, nice room, clean and welcoming. The girls at reception are very friendly and couldn’t do enough. Overall excellent and comfortable. We had a large balcony which was a bonus as weather was great! Breakfast is ok, due to hotel being small, not the usual affair, but everything you need to have quick breakfast is there. Enjoyable and we will be back!

The hotel is located in a part of a building in the very center of Daugavpils and is located within the walking distance from main city sights. It was convenient to have a car parked just next to the hotel door in the inner yard. The room was not too spacious but perfectly clean. We had good rest there. It was also handy to receive all the instructions in the messages before we arrived.

The hotel is located in the city center and it’s easy to get anywhere. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything that is needed, the breakfast is good.

The only downside are the curtains as they are not blackout and there is a lot of light coming in starting from 5 in the morning.

Central location. Free parking. Very helpful and nice staff. Small room, but with A/c, fridge and safe. Heated towel rack in the bathroom. Comfortable bed. Small breakfast included.

My room was on the 3 floor without lift. But the receptionist helped me carry my luggage. I would have loved fresh bread for breakfast (just go to Lidl and buy ;-) ). Very, very difficult to regulate water temperature in the shower. It is millimeters between ice cold and burning hot water and the temperature changes constantly. Definitely something you must look into.

The hotel is located in the very center just at the corner of the pedestrian only Riga Street, close to various cafes, restaurants, Smakovka Museum. The room was comfortable, with fridge and and kettle available. Please be aware of very high situated toilet and wash basin (at least in our room). It would be difficult to use for a child in case. We could park the car in the backyard, what was convenient. The breakfast was tasty with freshly brewed coffee. I liked the best the potato pancakes. Like at home. :)

Very clean, lots of space, beautiful view, clean bedding and comfortable beds. Glad to know this is dog friendly for the future. Round the corner you can find all cafes and restaurants. Shops just round the corner and supermarkets. Souvenirs shops and Central Park.

No lift (3rd floor) but this is not a problem for us. We are young healthy family.
