The hotel, staff and facilities were 1st class. Unfortunately, we could not stay long enough to enjoy the outdoor pool and visit the town as well.The staff were very professional and helpful, thank you. The dining was exceptional. Not only did this hotel offer gluten free bread, zero sugar, vegan as options, they also rear and acorn fed their own cattle which tastes amazing. The quality and experience was exceptional. The peaceful surroundings and free car parking made this trip stress-free. We plan to stay again but next time for longer as our time there felt too short. Thank you to all the staff for welcoming us and making our stay so enjoyable 🌺🌷

There was nothing we did not like.

The hotel is like an oasis in the desert. A beautiful old Spanish feel about it. Fantastic outside areas, all beautifully cared for. It has its own bull fighting arena which explains the trophy animals heads adorning there walls. This might put some people off, but it's part of Spanish culture so either accept it or move on.

The restaurant was expensive but to be expected for the type of hotel it is and I had to replace the correct way the plastic strip (which needed a clean) on the shower glass door to avoid flooding the bathroom.

The room is spacious and has a comfortable sofa and 2 nice sitting chairs. The beds were well made with nice linens. Marisa in the restaurant was pleasant and remembered me from my last stay. It is always nice to be acknowledged as a repeat guest. In the morning I only have coffee, and Tamara, the breakfast server, was very nice to chat with for a few minutes about the area and she made a great espresso.

I could hear the muffled conversation of the couple in the adjoining room. It would be nice to have a light by the sitting/desk area.

Peaceful location, great sized and comfortable rooms. Great value and good breakfast. Great pool and garden area, great outdoor bars.

Restaurant has good reputation for its meat, sadly although the meat was OK, served with no vegetables and no sauce or gravy was rather strange. Top quality steak with salad and potato crisps, missing a real opportunity to showcase good beef.

The room was large and the beds were comfortable. We could have lived in that room for a time and been very happy. We didn't have the breakfast but the coffee/espresso was great and the restaurant staff was very accommodating. The desk staff was cooly professional.

The receptionist found me a room accessible by lift when she saw that I walked with a stick. I liked the way the old world charm of the place was combined with modern comfort & convenience. Stylish traditional restaurant, very good food and perfect service. Absolute bargain. A bit after the fashion of the Spanish paradors but much better value.

This hotel is lovely,clean & we had a large room. Breakfast was varied & more than adequate. It is well located to visit the lovely village nearby. Ideal stopover on way to Santander & we would stay here again.

The room was rather cold but the receptionist turned up the heating when asked. I did ask for an extra pillow but it didn't arrive. We had to ask for wifi code...it wasn't automatically given.

A fun old style hotel. We got “take-out” from the restaurant to bring to our room for our kids as they served it on a nice serving tray which our kids loved.

The pool is only open from noon-8. The pool was the primary reason we picked this place and we didn’t get to swim in it due to the limited hours.

Great steaks and ice cream to die for! Very well kept and clean property even if dated in parts. Very amiable staff. Good parking.

No working shower. Little too far for walk to the city in the heat of summer. Noisy doors to rooms and sound insulation between.

The rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazingly good, simple, but everything was fresh, well sourced and of great quality. The hotel grounds were very well maintained and quite large.

Odd hours for the kids park to be open, we wished that the info on that was visible somewhere on booking. The air conditioning was living it's last breath, but functional.
