it’s a very calm and remote property, it’s perfect to rest and enjoy the remote countryside, and was it’s cold outside, all the hotel was 24• Celsius in all the property, even in a corredor to the termal spa, that is operating beside the hotel.

The room, it was not as requested, and the bathtub that is made in microciment was not in the proper state, and not closing the valve, therefore just showering was possible. Also the AC was blocked on 24• without the possibility to control it.

Nice setting. The bedroom was modern, with a sunken bath and smoke glass screens, separating the loo and bath area, in privacy terms a bit risqué! The bedroom was warm and quiet, and a comfy bed, good wardrobe space. All the staff we met were brilliant! The restaurant was modern, perhaps a bit pared back for us, but the food was excellent, I particularly liked the Dourada with the lemon risotto. The use of the Termas de Cro Spa swimming pool, for an hour a day for free was a bonus and access to Spa treatments at a extra cost was also something we took advantage of.

For us there was a couple of things that with a bit of thought could be improved. Firstly the shower is over the sunken bath, but when in use the water collects around the sides so floods the floor with water! So the bathroom part is permanently wet, unless you use a couple of towels to mop it up. Secondly, the small bar area is perhaps a let down, quite uninviting to want to sit in, it’s also a pass through to the spa so it feels like a bit of an after thought, didn’t encourage us to use it.

We liked the big window and the size of the room. Also the location is amazing, right by Serra da Estrela and you can do some trails and walks depending on your fitness level. The included SPA is an AMAZING feature.

It was a twin room but the beds were together, which being mother and daughter it's fine but it might be strange in other occasions. Also the tub is amazing but hard to walk in out of, if you are of a certain age. And the fact that you can hear and see people in the bathroom is no for me.

Architecture. Friendliness. Thermal pool. Good food and restaurant service - thank you Silvia and Paulo - we felt really welcomed at dinner

- No access to the varandas - Be aware of less fit costumers with the access to the bath stepping down from the floor. Nevertheless, none of us had a problem going down and we loved its design, but remember being adjacent to the therms will bring people with less mobility that will have problems getting to the shower/bath.

The rural location. Very peaceful and in touch with nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant was very good and there was lots of choice at the breakfast.

Cannot think of anything really. Overall, a really terrific hotel with very friendly staff.

Loved the location far from everything and how confy the bed was. Also great breakfast.

I was expecting thermal waters but it was just a spa with hot waters. The chlorine at the pool was so high that my noose didn´t like it when I accidentally swallowed a little bit of water.

Very friendly staff and a great restaurant with some lovely dishes. Remembered me from an earlier booking too. Access to the pool in the Termas is a bonus.

Still the issue with the bathroom, floor getting soaking wet when using the shower!

Good bed. Comfortable. Breakfast with plenty of options, fresh fruit. Diner also nice. Good cook!

Bathroom / toilet could be more practical and private. The hotel and the rooms don’t have very good and cozy lighting.

Breakfast was good selection. This hotel was right on our bike route so a great overnight stop which included a trip to the Cro Termal Spa. Dinner and wine at the restaurant was excellent. Staff were kind enough to offer us a secure place to store our bikes overnight.

The silence and the peace! The restaurant was amazing, and even the bar. Very cosy place! We experienced the pool and a massage and cannot be happier;)
