The hotel felt clean, cozy, and quiet. I found it great to do some deep work. I spent some time working from my room and found it quite comfortable. - The tables in the rooms are suitable for work (enough leg space, unlike many other hotels). - The Wi-Fi speed in the rooms is excellent. There's a gym on the ground floor that's open 24 hours. The equipment is quite basic, but it's sufficient.

The breakfast was quite basic. Besides pastries, there wasn't much choice. The sliced oranges had gone sour, probably because they kept serving the same plate over several breakfasts, just storing it in the fridge in between.

Breakfasts were great -- many choices, good food, and a wonderful experience being on the top floor of the hotel with great views. The interior decor was pleasant and spacious. The hotel was conveniently located to the center of Guarda with the churches and castle. We especially loved being able to take the fast elevators upstairs for chef-quality dinners. There was good parking in the basement garage.

The wifi Internet signal in our room was somewhat weak, so it might be a good idea for travelers, or for the hotel, to bring or buy plug-in wifi signal extenders. But it wasn't that much of a problem. But overall this hotel was the best one of about five we've stayed at in Portugal.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Every request I had was handled quickly and efficiently, which made my experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back on my next trip, highly recommended 😊

The location of this hotel is great. The views from the restaurant are amazing. The food is delicious, we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. There was a lot of choice for breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were travelling by motorbike and whilst there was no attached parking we found a spot directly outside the hotel which was absolutely fine and safe. We would use this hotel again if in the area and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful Hotel Comfy beds Amazing view Clean Plenty public parking (didn't even used the private parking) Despite a booking issue, the hotel was able to reserve an extra night without any hassle.

Limited Breakfast with very short time span (07h-10h)

Staff were lovely, room was spacious and bed was comfy. Bathroom was great, walk-in shower was fab. Lovely balcony. High quality bed linen. Easy parking.

Lumpy pillows. Drinks in the bar were quite expensive G&T 14€. A la carte restaurant food was cold, served on cold plates. Disappointing. Most people had the buffet.

Everything was 5 stars,from staff to food and cleaness.

The bar needs improvement, from staff to Drinks quality. You need a good professional to make cocktails,was very disappointed with that,felt like bartender didn't know what he was doing.

Our suite was excellent, large and comfortable, definitely worth paying extra for the suite in the winter. The heating was excellent, which was appreciated in early February. Breakfast was very good and dinners were good too especially the buffet evenings.

It was very inconvenient not being allowed to have one key card for each of us. The hotel had run out!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb views. Very good location; just a 15-minute walk to the centre. Excellent room. A new bottle of water everyday was an excellent touch, especially in the summer, when outside temperature during the day easily goes above 30ºC.

The curtains in the room were slightly translucent. So, for people who like to sleep in total darkness, especially in the summer when it's light earlier, that is not so good.

The view from the Bar and restaurant - spectacular sunsets! The young Brazilian couple who served us were VERY professional and friendly. The food was top quality.

Bathroom lighting very good although lighting from above bad for ladies doing make-up - impossible to see. Lighting would be better from the side. Bedside lighting too dim for bedtime reading. Can't you afford more volts in your light bulbs???
