Everything, virtually brand new hotel, clean modern facilities, took a room on the 4th floor with mountain view out across the valley, lovely view, excellent facilities in room, staff welcoming and very helpful. Walking distance to other restaurants in the area, one attached to the hotel was good. Excellent breakfast in lovely room in ground floor room with view. Good free WiFi, street parking outside easy. Would definitely stay again.

Couldn't stay longer

This hotel is one which has been recently built or renovated next door to a restaurant and the tourist information centre on the way into the centre on a split level site. Our room was located downstairs from the main entrance and was located away from the main road with a view of the valley. There was free parking adjacent to the property. Breakfast was a good continental buffet which included a number of local cheeses, server three floors down in a room with a view of the lower valley. There was a selection of restaurants at various price points within a short distance of the hotel in addition to the more up market one next door (we tried The central for cheaper local food). The tourist information centre next door is worth a visit to get free walking route maps (using the European coloured flash way markers) in various languages distributed by a very helpful gentleman. There are a couple of supermarkets and bakery for picnic food.

The combined WC and Shower cubicles with opaque glass walls and a shared sliding glass door are a bit odd but there is a curtain for privacy separating them from the sleeping area.

Well placed in village centre handy petrol station 100m in centre. Great value for money set in Manteigas high street fir easy access to stunning N232 over the Serra Da Estrela national park. Modern rooms cleaned daily, Fabiana, Joanna and Angela all very welcoming and helpful. Definitely coming here again as great centre to explore northern Portugal.

Roadside parking but seems plenty of it out of season, May be different in summer!

The breakfast was OK but the times from 8 to 10 am were too early for me. For those who like to breakfast early, it is really very good.

A longer breakfast time like until 11:30 am would have been better. There was the offer of a dinner event for new year. My family and I took this offer. This was very expansive 70€/person and was not worth it at all. They contracted a piano player to play in the dinner and this was horrible. Was like a funeral party. Really horrible. As the pianist started to sing this was a complete desaster. So if somebody goes to this hotel, never accept their extra offers because they will trick you with the prices as this would be something amazing, worth the price, but it is not.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The setup of the bathroom is a bit different than usual but it works well. The view from the room was very good.

Breakfast could be improved both in terms of variety of food as well as ensuring that the different types of food available is continually restocked.

This hotel is the perfect base for three days of walking in the surrounding hills. The view from the room puts you in the right frame of mind then the hearty breakfast sets you up for an active day. Everything was calean and tidy. The tourist information office next to the hotel have a complete catalogue of well illustrated local walks.

No real problems but sometimes when we wanted help or advice there was no one on reception to talk to. We didn't realize that the tourist office next door provided very helpful maps of local walks until our last day but no problem one of our party had the All-Trails App so we found great routes anyway

Stayed before. Love the hotel and staff. You book in a the staff leave you to it. Reception is not staffed all the time but that is not an issue as you can access the hotel 24/7 Great location and quiet.

Very centrally located. Friendly staff. Clean compact rooms with gorgeous picture window views of the mountains. Nice breakfast. Free parking.

The hotel in a quiet part of town, very easy to find, right next to Tourist information. Parking directly out the front. The linen clean , pillows comfortable.. Wifi and TV excellent. Breakfast very good and enough choices. Great little restaurant up the street, called Central. Menu of the day. 2 courses with wine under 30 Euros. The best part of the hotel is the incredible view, from the room and on the top terrace,
