Location was great near the city center. Staff were kind, welcoming and helpful - also spoke multiple languages (English) Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. The restaurant / bar was fantastic aswell, the food was the best I had in Covilha while I was on my trip over.

Honestly, it was fantastic to stay there. Perhaps just letting people know that checkout is automatic, but honestly it was pretty much perfect

I called the property in advance, if there was the possibility to checkin or drop off my suitcase, as the purpose of my trip was for a funeral. After the wake I would arrive late at the property. Super friendly staff received my suitcase and dropped it into my room and was there upon my arrival.

The room was cold late at night upon arrival. As a courtesy it would have been nice to have the heating turned on.

The hotel is a beautifully restored old building in the heart of Covilha's historic centre. Our room was quite small but the bed was huge and very comfortable. We had dinner in the bistro, and the food was great (though we had to ask the waiter to warm the plates). Breakfast was superb.

The building is accessed via steep narrow lanes - not for the faint-hearted driver! Our room was on the second floor but there is no lift.

The ambience of the whole place is fantastic! High ceiling room , mega comfortable beds, sparkling bathroom, I could not find a single fault here even if I wanted too. Our room also had a small balcony which is great if you're a smoker. The pool is amazing, the breakfast simple yet tasty ( try the croissants) . The staff very helpful and kind 🙂

Beautiful rooms and pool. Lovely location. Everything was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was nice and the evening restaurant was fabulous.

There's no reception, so no one to ask questions to or make simple requests about the room easily. It wasn't really a big issue but not 100% ideal. We would stay here again though.

Amazing place. The staff is so friendly and helpful with everything. They were really sweet with our little girl as well. Good and fresh breakfast. It's a beautiful building with spacious rooms and it's very clean. Location is perfect in the middle of the old town. The restaurant downstairs is really good for diner. High quality for a good price. I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful restoration of an original large city residence. Breakfast was fantastic, real quality ingredients. Restaurant looked lovely too, although it was booked out for us. Swimming pool area very nice and modern. The building looked quite plain on the outside but had lovely interesting decor when inside. Parking for our 10 motorcycles right outside the door. A gem of a place.

It was a bit hard to find even with a satnav - cobblestones and hilly, sharp turns necessary, would be difficult in the wet. There was no lift.

Bed was amazing and free netflix was a huge bonus

Unfortunately, a storm had knocked the boiler off, so there was no hot water for the shower. Given that we had arrived on a motorbike and were wet and cold, this was a huge disappointment but couldn't be helped, I suppose. The bed and access to netflix more than made up for it. Getting out of town via the 1-way system down some very steep wet cobbled streets was a nightmare!!

The room was spacious and clean, with a large shower. Dinner selection at in-lodging restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast variety was great. Staff was friendly and courteous. We wished we could have stayed an extra night or two.

Clean room, nice bathroom with counter space and spacious shower, Netflix on TV, nice pool and outdoor lounging area, and great restaurant downstairs. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.

No parking granted and extremely hard to find a spot on nearby streets. Also, the hand soap had not been refilled when we arrived.
