We only stayed for 1 night which was a shame! The place is lovely, the scenery is gorgeous and so calming. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and all the necessities you need. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a fabulous place to stay at.

The night we stayed they were limited on the food so we only had about 3 options to choose from. We couldn’t opt for the menu options.

Spent one night in the historical village of Belmonte after exploring the Serra da Estrela region. Had a room with a view to the mountains, which was incredible. Dinner in the hotel was very good as well as breakfast. There's plenty of parking available in front of the property. The historical center of Belmonte is just 10 minutes walk.

Our stay was almost perfect in every possible way - the friendliest satff, amazing view, rich breakfast, tidy room,...

The only reason why it was a 9/10 instead of a 10/10 was the temperature of the bath - it was a bit colder than what we would've liked.

The staff was extremely accommodating. For a Kosher traveler they were very knowledgeable and helpful. The room was very large, the beds were comfortable. There was a couch in the seating area. The staff was exceptional- anticipated our needs.

The towels could be softer.

Location and the breakfast were truly great!

The maintenance of the room. A loose tap, a door lock that didn’t work, and other stuff like this. Nothing was critical, but we can see that the rooms could use a bit better maintenance to have a safer and more pleasant experience.

A very nice and comfortable hotel with plenty of free public parking right at the hotel entrance. Excellent place to stay for those who are planning to explore Serra da Estrela, or just to explore Belmonte. We had been upgraded free of charge to a suite. The staff is very friendly and helpful, speaking good English. Good breakfast served personally. Good restaurant for the evening meal.

The evening meal was very good and the waiter very helpful. Breakfast had almost everything you needed even a little pancake maker! All the staff were very obliging.

The main curtain in the bedroom was hangi g off the rail. I mentioned it to the receptionist and she said maintenance would sort. It was no big issue.

The room was nice, spacious, Breakfast was good, also location was very good.

Ididn't like the pillows, too big, hard to sleep on it. Next to our room the couple spoke very loud on the verandah until very late.⁹

Dinner wasn't good. The goatling needed longer cooking time. Perhaps slow cooking to tendering the meat. The salmon was slightly over cooked
