Aqua et Oleum is located in the outskirts of the town of Villamiel. This former olive oil mill has been converted to a small 8 room gem of a hotel. This was our base for a 3 day leisure stay of the area. The setting is extremely relaxing with it's views and the creek running through the rear of the property. We were in room #3 which is large and comfortable. Joseph, the owner, has managed to make a great transformation creating an environment to make his guests feel at home. Victor was always attentive to anything we needed. He was in communication with us while we were out with regard to meals when we returned being most places were closed at the time we wanted to eat and Chef Roy can cook delicious meals! Everyone and I mean everyone went out of their way making sure we were at our maximum comfort. Joseph, Victor, Roy, Christina, Patricia and all those behind the scene, thank you for making this a fabulous stay.

Beautiful spot in the middle of nowhere, super quiet, perfect to relax! Beautiful pool area, good food, very spacious room and very nice staff.

Fortunately my wife speaks Spanish, otherwise it would be a bit difficult with English, but ok.

The location is amazing, Extremadura is an undiscovered jewel! Such a beautiful sky at night, full of stars and completely surrounded by nature. You wake up with birds chirping and the calming sound of the river, such an incredible experience overall. Already looking forward to go again. The hotel is fairly new, it opened last august. The staff is incredible as well as the food. We where very lucky that the pool was open

It's was a great pleasure staying at Aqua et Oleum. We chose it because it's small, secluded and the dogs are allowed. The food at the restaurant was absolutely outstanding. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Great hotel! Everyone was really friendly and helpful, we were even able to speak to the staff in German. The room was beautiful and very spacious, with a big bed and a large shower.

Only a few points of improvement: the pillows were quite hard and they could provide better info on the area around the hotel (hiking maps).

Such a lovely welcome by wonderful staff. The food was excellent and the room and bed were extremely comfortable.
