The receptionist was rude and said that I had to pay more on what I booked. So I booked for 300 BRL and actually payed 500BRL...

We stayed as two couples but were placed on different floors, which was already inconvenient. Unfortunately, our experience only got worse from there. My floor was under renovation, and we were abruptly awakened at 8:00 AM by workers sanding the walls; the dust was everywhere. We complained multiple times to the front desk, but the manager was never available and didn’t follow up at all. In the other room, the air conditioning did not work during our stay. The shower frequently switched to cold water jets mid-bath, which was extremely uncomfortable. We were given only one roll of toilet paper, and it was not replaced after housekeeping missed our room. We had to request it ourselves. Housekeeping was inconsistent and poorly managed. We returned to the apartment around 4:00 PM to find it still not cleaned. A staff member came later and said there had been too much movement during the day, but did not change towels or restock supplies. There were no internal phone extensions listed anywhere in the apartment. We had to use our cell phones to call the front desk, and even after complaining, they still didn’t provide a directory. It’s hard to understand how this basic information is not readily available. When we asked for hot water for tea, we were treated dismissively and told to go to the on-site restaurant, which was closed at the time. To top it off, the toilet shower (bidet spray) wasn’t functional either. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay. I Booking.com takes guest feedback more seriously and remove this hotel from the list, because this level of service is unacceptable. We have also complained to Booking.com with no replies. I have a video showing the noise and the dust, but Booking doesn't let me upload it.
