The hotel is located far up the mountains, in a tiny village. Beautiful twisty roads through rustic, sometimes seemingly abandoned villages, often with breathtaking view lead to the Locanda Zita. If your goal is to get away from the day-to-day craziness and travel back to a simpler time, this is the place to do just that! The breakfast is okay and more than enough to get you going.

- English speaking staff was very limited. - The Hotel’s restaurant menu was a dumbed down version of the Italian. The options were very limited, it felt like they didn’t really care about non-Italian speakers.

The food is sublime, you have to have the taster menu option every single dish and every single mouthful was perfect. Coffee was amazing wine on tap red or white Priced prefect as to not break the bank E stayed for 3 nights and the beds were comfortable and extremely quite The view from some of the rooms overlooking the mountains were worth the extra price. Breakfast was good with a good selection of pastries and meats with hot Toasted bread.

Our stay came to an end.

Beautiful location in a small village with clear views of the mountains, Very quiet being a village but such clean and clear air. Very good spread of food for breakfast and very big choice for evening meals. Wherever you travelled for the day you had great views and many towns and castles near to the property.

Public car park, which can be full if an activity is taking place.

The location is outstanding with places to visit within 30mins by car. The accommodation is good and clean (no tea/coffee facilities, but our apartment had a mini fridge which was useful, and aircon). The staff (family run) are extremely keen to please (particularly at the restaurant)! Fabulous food at the renowned restaurant which gets busy and has a lovely atmosphere!

The location is in the very center of the town. Within Locanda Zita there is an extremely good restaurant that you must visit and enjoy local delicacies. Breakfast was typical Italian. The staff is very hospitable and professional.

The mattress was too soft and snug.

The staff is just AMAZING!! They treated us like family. Although not much English is spoken, they will make you feel like family. Did I mention that they have the best mushroom recipes hands down? Da best PERIOD! Go to Lago di Ninfa and Monte Cimone, please. Stay away from the hustle and bustle in those huge cities. Enjoy it its the best! Great for 23 nights.

Great, lovely room. Nice facilities like the sauna or jacuzzi with a nice view. As well nice restaurant with a great kitchen.

Amazing location. Cosy place, warm and pretty looking refurbished rooms and bathroom. Good breakfast. Straight view to the mountains and nice spa facilities. Highly recommended the restaurant's, don't miss the 'cava' ...one of the most memorable spots to have dinner in. Great friendly staff with a very high standards approach.
