Nice hotel with spectacular views that at times look unreal. All the staff were fantastic, such lovely people they really take care of you. So a big thank you to all the staff. The restaurant was good, same menu each lunch and evening but a choice of around 12 starters and 12 mains so enough variety. Food was very good quality and you never get bored of the view from the restaurant. Our room faced the mountains and all the front rooms have the same view. The back rooms face the other way and look to be a bit smaller. The end rooms of the hotel, that is 2 x 3 floors = 6 rooms have balconies. We had one with a balcony, 3rd floor, but there’s no furniture on the balcony. Room was good size, bed was great, only downside was the bathroom was a bath with shower over and plastic curtain unfortunately. Can be a bit noisy with neighbours at times, rooms not hugely insulated. The gym was good, spectatcular pool and the Spa was excellent. I’d say pretty much a 4 star hotel and 5 star spa, pool, gym. You need to book times for dinner ie 7.30, 8.00 or 8.30. We took several of the tours run by Massif(?) from the hotel. Guides were OK but although Chilean in the main, tended not to be local (unlike Nayara Atacama hotel in Atacama Desert). Perhaps this reflects the fact it is seasonal here rather than full year, so staff may come in for 6 months for a season. The tours were expensive. Around $400 full day, $200 half. Again comparing to Atacama about double the price for the same experience type. Everyone seems to be welcome on the tours/hikes whatever the ability so unfortunately one took at least an hour longer than intended with some very slow walkers. That was the Cuenos walk. Fabulous views. We also did French Valley which is part of the W walk, ourselves plus a guide, so our own pace. That was 14 miles but you have to take the 30 minute ferry across the lake and there is only one 18.30, and sometimes 17.00 ferry back.

We stayed 3 nights and we loved everything about our experience at the hotel Rio Serrano Hotel + Spa ! The first impression is the most incredible - A direct view on Torres del Paine and the horses, birds etc moving freely in nature and around the hotel from every spots - spa, dining venues, lounges . The Superior rooms with view definitely worth every penny! The food and the cocktails are made with great ingredients and creativity . Amazing team- warm, welcoming and caring ! While I was sick one night, the team deliver to my room a complementary dish and tea pot to wish me getting better, super touching . The team is also very accommodating on special requests, take immediate actions on any feedback . We travelled around the World and stayed in many luxury hotels . Rio Serrano Hotel + Spa deserves 5 stars .
Nothing really !

The setting, mountain views, design and comfort of common areas, spa/swimming pool.
Having stayed in a superior room for two nights (with fantastic views, well-designed space, and quality of fixtures, the contrast with the standard room I stayed in the third night (no other room available) was striking. The room was "beat up" - big chips of paint on the wall corners (showing plaster), the desk was also "worn," the bathroom hook was loose, the light fixtures were cheap looking, and the room overall was like a small motel room (adequate for a motel, but way overpriced for this caliber of hotel. Quite disappointing.

We had a fantastic stay! The room had a stunning view of the mountains, and the location of the hotel couldn’t be better—right near the park entrance and nestled in a beautiful valley, just a short walk from the river. The spa is great, featuring a large pool, saunas, and relaxing massages. The food throughout our stay was very good. The cozy lobby with a fireplace and scenic view made it a great spot to unwind, we enjoyed spending some time on the outdoor terrace with a traditional music and lamb on the grill. Horse riding was a highlight for our kid.
The main restaurant was often very loud due to large tourist groups, and the service was occasionally slow.

What an incredible place to stay! The location is incredible, with a clear Mountain View at breakfast and in your room. The breakfast included is comprehensive and delicious. The staff were attentive and highly professional. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the staff went the extra mile to leave complimentary chocolate and a bottle of sparkling wine for us to enjoy! Dinner can be taken in the restaurant and bar area, and food is reasonably priced and delicious. There are no negatives to staying at rio serrano, only that our stay wasn’t long enough!
Nothing - everything was excellent!

The hotel is wonderful, the views breathtaking and the customer service to another level. The room is comfortable and clean. The swimming pool and the spa were incredible. They offer different massages types. The breakfast was delicious, so many options to choose from. The hotel is not inside the National Park, but about 10-minute drive from the entrance. I'm just commenting on this so you can book your entrance ticket having this as a consideration. I bought my tickets to the National Park thinking that the hotel was inside but then I changed the tickets to the next day without a problem. So not a big deal. I would definitely come back on the next trip to Torres del Paine.

The location of Rio Serrano is superb. The setting in a beautiful valley close to rivers and one of the entrances to TdelP is hard to beat and ao are the views. Spa is 5 star and so is the service level provided by the hotel staff (without exception)
Given the super steep room rates the rooms are small and pretty basic. The quality of the kitchen (breakfast, dinner, snacks) is not not ‘low’ but certainly not on par with the room rates. Last but not least: the hotel could perhaps invest some of its juicy turnover in improving the last 5 kilometers of road accessing Rio Serrano because it is quite a pain to avoid punctures twice a day when driving to and from the park or elsewhere. All this said, we must admit we’d love to stay here again.

During our honeymoon, we had the pleasure of staying at Río Serrano Hotel & Spa, and it stands out as one of the finest accommodations we’ve experienced. Situated just outside Torres del Paine National Park, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Paine Massif from various vantage points, including our room’s balcony, the dining hall, pool area, and the expansive ranch grounds. The property is home to a variety of animals such as horses, cows, and dogs, adding to its charm. We drove our rental car from Punta Arenas to the hotel, which served as an excellent base for our park hikes. Additionally, we participated in excursions organized by the hotel’s on-site partner, including a glacier tour on Lago Grey and a memorable horseback riding experience around the ranch. Our stay coincided with the tail end of the holiday season, allowing us to enjoy an all-inclusive package for food and drinks. The culinary offerings were exceptional, featuring ribeye steaks, fire-roasted lamb, and fresh local seafood. A special mention goes to our server, Stephanie, whose attentive and warm service enhanced our dining experience. We also appreciated that the hotel provides housing for its staff, reflecting a commitment to employee well-being. The combination of a secluded and majestic location, outstanding service, and meticulous attention to detail makes Río Serrano Hotel & Spa a true gem. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Torres del Paine region!!

Beautiful hotel in the Rio Serrano Valley, when I first booked, I was afraid it would feel "too commercial," but it really has a forest lodge feel to it with excellent staff and personal touches. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean. Welcome chocolates and a note in the room on arrival. We even got an early check-in! The restaurants both had some of the best food we had all vacation, even compared with Buenos aires. The spa is serene and lovely. They have daily documentary nights at 9, a game room, and they even had an afternoon BBQ one day. You can also arrange for hikes and excursions from their excursion desk, and they have their own car mechanic for any flat tires and other car trouble. This hotel is really a great place to be, especially after a long day of hiking where you just want to have good food, great service, and pamper yourself after. Oh and did i mention the view of the mountains?

The location, close to the Serrano Gate to the park, was very convenient and the views of the Torres del Paine Massif were stunning. It is well worth paying extra for a Mountain View. We stayed for 4 nights which fits in nicely with the 3 day Park pass. The Massif travel team were very helpful in planning walking trips and organised a refund for the Grey Glacier trip which unfortunately was cancelled due to high winds. The swimming pool and saunas provided welcome relaxation after a day's walking. The food was lovely, varied and plentiful. Great breakfast and also they provided a packed lunch on the day we left. An expensive but lovely treat at the end of our Chile adventure!
