The hosts are amazing, friendly and kind. I was sick on the last day of our stay and they let us do a later check out so I could sleep a bit longer. There is a wonderful selection for breakfast which you pick out the night before and is served to you in the breakfast room at a designated table. They have several lounges, and outdoor deck patio with couches and a downstairs gravel patio with little bistro tables. There is a pool but we didn't use it. The rooms are nice and cool, and the comforter is very cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room was great! We stayed in the Da Vinci room. The area is great for walking and quite challenging for runs as it's mainly all hills. Cows in the area to say hi to.

Doors were quite squeaky. Had to get up several times at night to use the washroom however the washrooms are outside the bedrooms. (You have your own designated washroom and it was right beside the room, but not inside the room). There is also a very bright automatic hallway light that came on every time I went out. I was quite worried I was waking up the other guests as the bedroom doors have large cracks so you can see the light. The other complaint was that the 3 dogs on the property are very loud. One barks and it causes the other one to bark while the third one stays quiet.

I've spent more than 25 years staying in hotels/B&Bs all over the world and this place ranks amongst the very best. From the moment I arrived to the time that I left 3 days later I was incredibly well looked after. The rooms are amazing, the breakfast was delicious and I could not get over the attention to detail and beautiful decor everywhere I looked. I will definitely be back very soon!

I couldn't fault anything!

I thought our hosts Jan and Yvonne were lovely, charming and helpful especially when we asked for some fridge space. The breakfast was very good, simple and delicious.

The bed dipped in the middle and the furnishings in our room were a little kitsch. But there were also old things very thoughtfully used which I liked.

Staff is great, helpful and friengly! Beer tastings is a must. Hikings and nature at the doorstep of the hotel. Visit to local breweries nearby is recomended. All that in the comfort of the premisses (which are outstanding), it feels like being at my family home and at the same time at a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is royal! also a must...

The multi-lingual host was very helpful in helping me arrange for a late-night dinner and gave me tips on exploring the historic surroundings. Even better, the room was spectacular and at a very reasonable rate. I'd stay here again easily.

There are no services in the village from what I could tell, though a short drive away, you'll find plenty of options.

Everything! Our hosts were wonderful. Breakfast is lovely. The facilities were beyond our expectations. Excellent idea to have cold drinks and snacks available to buy from reception. Netflix in the room which was nice to use in the evening, aswell as games in the common area. We both were sad to leave and would definitely return again! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay. Excellent location for all WW2 sights we wanted to visit. Lois & Vince.

What a lovely place to stay! Not only was is spotless, it was beautiful, comfortable, and we loved that it was tucked away in a little village. So quiet which is just what we needed. And the owners are exceptionally kind and welcoming.

Friendly host, nice location, you can charge your electric car, they waited for me even though i arrived two hours past check-in time due to car trouble. I had different plans but you can definitely hang out on their property and have some snacks and drinks. Very easy going and open hosts who like to have a conversation without being overly involved.

A double bed is two separate beds put together which is less optimal.

Beautiful 15th century building, sensitively restored and modernised, lovely decor, pool, ample parking including undercover for my motorbike

Everything about La Vie en Rose was exceptional. The room and decor were beautiful and we were looked after like family. It was a perfect stay.
