I love the decor of the hotel. The lobby was beautiful. Check in was quick and easy. My room was relaxing, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Shower was nice and hot. Love the rain shower head. The TV in the foot rest was so cool and made for a relaxing time in the room. I enjoyed going down to the coffee shop inside the hotel. They had a variety of teas. I was able to grab the tumeric ginger tea to settle my stomach. It was in walking distance to the Thelma Sadoff Theatre that I had my speaking engagement and The Cellar restaurant.

Everything was very nice at the hotel. There was no complaints from me at all.

The hotel was beautiful, the location was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rooms were very quiet. We were staying so I could recover after a procedure, and the walk in shower made recovery extremely easy. The staff was accommodating for our late checkout and we will be staying again in the future.

The room wasn’t very clean upon arrival. The sheets and towels were changed, but there were a lot of stains, and other things that were missed. The TV in the living room portion of the suite was non-functional, but we were able to use the one in the bedroom adequately.

The hotel itself had history; it was a downtown location. It was quiet in the room, being downtown, there was a lot to look at and walk to.

Though it had a refrigerator, there was no microwave. For some reason, they gave me a handicap room; however, the shower was great—multi-nozzle. It was weird that it was ground level, and a lot of water splashed onto the floor. The TV was small, but the location, being in the bed, was kind of cool. Overall, a good stay.

The location was good. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area, and there are good choices for food and libations nearby. The Hotel Bar was great, as was the wait staff/bartender. I was impressed with the price of the room, and of the restaurant/bar/coffee shop.

There wasn't much to complain about... if anything, it could be easier to adjust the temperature in the rooms. I got it to where I could be comfortable, but I'm not sure that I ever figured out the 'system'.

The location is great in the center of a pretty historic town. the history of the place is great and it was very clean. I would repeat the stay.

I felt the bar and restaurant could have been open until 10:00. I got in after an 7.5 hour drive and by the time I got into the room and settled it was too late. Over all the experience there was still great and I was able to find someplace to go eat and catch a cocktail.

Location

The Lounge did not have a TV, and the NFL Playoffs were on. Also it closed at 9 :00 pm. I also did not like the overhead rain shower in the bathroom, but it was valuable because I am remodeling my own bathroom and was thinking of installing one of these myself. It certainly helped me to decide, so actually, this ended up being a blessing.

No breakfast provided, must be purchased and by 9 am the little shop was already out of the one thing I wanted...bagels.

After reading my review I am amending it as we loved the appearance of everything...my husband just marveled at the shiny marbel-like floors! The bed was very comfortable the furniture nice. Especially enjoyed having TV in footboard of bed..

Breakfast was not part of our stay, but the lobby and entry area was gorgeous. Our room was very elegant too. The staff was outstanding. Sparkling chandeliers and granite floors made you feel like you were in a palace.

I had requested that the room not have any feather or down pillows/comforters as I am deathly allergic to them. When we arrived in the room, it had 3 down feather pillows. A call to the front desk, and a bit of running from one excellent employee and we were able to get replacements. We were so grateful!

Very clean and newly updated. I liked the historical aspect of it.

Although there was a parking garage, you had to park on the fourth floor take an elevator to ground level walk through like an alleyway to get into the hotel, there wasn't direct access.

Gorgeous property, extremely well preserved historic building with great amenities, comfortable rooms and beds, very clean, easy parking, perfect location and great staff. Pet friendly, made my pup feel a home. Lots of restaurants nearby along with restaurant and coffee shop in the hotel. Close to the lake.
