Dining takes center stage at La Ciminèa, an on-site restaurant serving Italian and Local flavors. Guests can enjoy meals with terrace and garden views, and a bar nearby provides a relaxed spot to unwind. The dining scene pairs well with sunset moments and al fresco ambiance.

Two outdoor pools offer sunny variety: a seasonal infinity pool with a shallow end for easy lounging, plus an adults-only seasonal infinity pool for quiet evenings. Pets are welcome on request, with potential charges, and flexible payment options include Cash, Mastercard, and Visa for a breezy checkout.

Accommodation spans intimate villas to expansive, multi-bedroom retreats. For a cozy escape, Villa Piscina Privata sleeps 2 adults with a private pool. Larger groups can opt for the Villa, Private Pool, which accommodates up to 20 adults and 13 children, and there are suites with private pools as well, such as the Premium Suite, Private Pool for 2 adults.

Stunning setting. Amazing and friendly staff. Very good breakfast.

Pool looks lovely, but freezing cold and not suitable for swimming in May. I dont know why Europe does not heat there pools with solar panels! No coffee in the bedrooms which is very surprising for Italy. We have stayed in many Italian hotels and they usually have coffee machines. We were offered coffee sachets...Nescafe! Had to pay daily for bottled water, again free every day in most hotels. The settee in the bedroom was extremely uncomfortable and was a bed settee, which as a couple we obviously didn't use. The furnishings were basic although the bed was very comfortable.

Overall place was nice and cosy with notes of country life. We did like the pool next to our apartment where we stayed. Overall design of the house was nice and made with detail.

The cleanliness of the room was far from ideal: we found used contact lenses in the nightstand and a patch with a beer cork near the pool left from previous guests — quite a shame considering the price we paid. The layout of the toilet is also questionable: not only is it visible from the bed, but the large window right next to it raises a lot of concerns. A few minor service issues as well make the place feel overpriced for what it offers.

It’s a beautiful property with lovely grounds, beautiful old buildings that have been restored tastefully, we were upgraded into a Superior suite which was huge, comfortable bed, sitting room and a balcony, we shared a lovely pool area with a few other suites although it was pretty much just us. Martina at reception was very helpful to us thank you, it was a beautiful breakfast on the terrace overlooking the grounds. We used the hotel as a base to explore the area and it worked well for us, there are some nice restaurants around the area but you will need to ask for them and book. We would stay here again if we were to come back to Sardinia!

It’s a pretty rough and dusty road into the property, no drama for our rental car though!

The grounds and staff were very nice.

The food was poor. The same menu every day and it wasn’t great. It’s like a place, that the Chef thinks they are better than they actually are. and they seem to be dictating the running of the Hotel. For a great hotel and premises with nice staff, you have no choice but to go out and look for somewhere else to eat.

Stunning, picturesque location; green & rolling countryside, surrounded by mountains. Just a few minutes from the local town, with everything you might need but also approx 15 minutes drive to the beautiful Costa Smeralda. Excellent service. A very special place.

This is being extremely picky because everything else was perfect, but if I had to mention something, there were just a few utensils missing from villa kitchen. Nothing you couldn’t work round though!

The hotel resort is Very nicely embedded in nature surrounding the property, spacious accommodation and facilities

The place requires some updating, the unpaved road up to junior suites was atrocious. A few things didn’t work (no TV signal, no phone connection, door squeaking loudly) and the mattress was sub-standard for a 4-star hotel

Aldo the cocktail barman made exquisite cocktails and mocktails (which our daughter enjoyed). The Caipirinha was my favourite. The food for lunch and dinner was good. The carbonara was our lunch favourite and the grouper fish for dinner with gazpacho was lovely. Everyone should visit San Pantaleo in the evening. Hotel were excellent at accommodating a yacht trip around the Maddalena islands which was a highlight of our stay in the north.

Some of the staff in the restaurant were a little cold. The hotel could have some more swimming pool activities… bat and ball, floats etc. In my opinion you shouldn’t need to pay extra for freshly squeezed orange juice or pancakes for breakfast. We did have better breakfasts elsewhere in Sardinia.

Very friendly and accommodating staff particularly when travelling with a two year old. Beautiful location, carefully and tastefully thought through renovation of an old Stazzo. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. Particular thanks to Gigi for being particularly attentive to "La principessa". The outdoor bar area is stunning, the barmen are very friendly, and I reckon Aldo could deliver a cocktail to the moon on a golf cart if asked! The restaurant is very good, but is certainly on the expensive side even by northern European standards for similar quality. Would still recommend it though.

Reactions to mosquito bites, bring insect repellent!

Location was stunning. Hotel was stunning. The decor was beautiful. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Rooms very clean. View from our room was wonderful.

Food was a little disappointing e.g. not much cooked breakfast and same thing every day. Was a shame that the bar wasn’t open earlier because if you weren’t booked in for lunch, you weren’t able to purchase drinks until 3pm. Would have been nice to get coffees and soft drinks throughout the day, not just at meal times or after 3pm.

I don’t know how this place isn’t a 5 star! Beautiful property, large rooms. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Everyday we came back from breakfast our rooms were cleaned. The whole property was spotless. Beautiful view and sunsets from The property. Great location, about 15-20 minutes drive to all the spots we wanted to see. The bartenders Aldo & simone were very personable, attentive and made our time extra special. Francesca and the rest of the team at the front desk took care of all of our reservations, and recommendations for beaches and dining. The was our second time in sardina, and we would absolutely stay again and stay at stazzo lu ciaccaru!
