The resort was amazing. The view of the bay was exceptional and our room was beautiful. The amenities in the room were excellent. The breakfast included within the price of the room was delicious and there was a wide selection of choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to a local charming town with great restaurants and bars (San Pantaleo) which is accessible by car or a 45 minute walk.

I would say the price of the food on the normal menu was very expensive. It felt a shame that the pizza options, for example, were €25-40, when down the road in the town you could get delicious pizza for €10. The drinks were also very expensive. €8 for a small beer is too much!

From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The staff here were amazing and very welcoming. We only wish we could have stayed for more than one night to fully enjoy all the facilities. The degustation dinner at Il Fuoco Sacro was the best meal we have EVER tasted and we are still thinking about it! Breakfast was likewise amazing and served at the table degustation style. Our room had a separate lounge area, very comfortable bed and private outdoor patio to enjoy the views. The property has lovely gardens to wander around and a nice pool area.

Check in could be a little earlier to make the most of the facilities. Apart from that everything was perfect!

The staff are all very friendly and helpful! It was our anniversary so we received a bottle of Prosecco on arrival and an anniversary cake on our final night, which was a really lovely touch. The communal areas - the pool, the reception and the lounge - are beautiful and were lovely spaces to relax. Both restaurants were great, with delicious food, and the Michelin starred restaurant in particular was exceptional.

Our room felt a little dated (the air con was old and smelt bad, the TV was old and had no English channels) and the bathroom felt a little grubby, with bits of mould growing and slugs coming in every night. Considering the slightly lower-quality bedroom, prices at the hotel felt high. We paid about €65 for a sandwich, a portion of chips and two drinks for lunch one day. Travelling anywhere outside of the hotel is also extremely expensive, as you have to get a hotel-booked private taxi - we went out for dinner on our second day and the round-trip cost us €210, so we didn’t leave the hotel for the rest of our stay as a result!

LIKED: pool beautiful, views beyond imaginable, Michelin restaurant amazing, breakfast amazing, staff VERY helpful, bath robe wonderful, evening compliments nice. Did not like: first room that was offered was with a strong smell of mold, however hotel upgraded us..second room was very cold, one conditioner did not work, but eventually room warmed up, toilettories are not good-smelled funny and were not enjoyable, would suggest to change them…and you need to WAIT for everything :) check in took an hour or more. Overall: place for romance, but need some upgrades.

Nice serene place away from the crowds with excellent staff - attentive and very polite. Unique property which adds to the charm.

The only thing with highlighting is that some of the charges are really not appropriate for a property like this: (1) Rooms are already pricey so please consider no additonal charges for hot food during breakfast for certain items. Most high end hotels have this included in the Room and Breakfast price (2) 20 € for room service is outrageous. Again guests are already paying a lot and spending money on food and drinks. Why charge them for room service - it should be complimentary.

Beautiful spot with lovely views. The suites with private pools - which allow remarkable views - are particularly special. Extremely tastefully appointed and its gardens beautifully designed and maintained, consistent with Relais & Chateaux’s high standards. Staff provides exceptional service - anticipating and responding to guests’ needs with extraordinary promptness, efficiency and care. Beds are super comfortable and food is excellent. (The property houses a restaurant with a decorated Michelin starred chef).

The lighting in the bathrooms could be improved.

Excellent facilities and privacy. The views from the room were amazing and the whole place is kept very clean and beautiful, as you would expect from a Relais & Chateaux. Breakfast had a great variety of options. Staff were friendly. All in all it felt like a very special place. It is located close to many beautiful beaches. We had a great time while there.

The hotel should advice guests with cars never to turn left out of the property, even if Google Maps suggests it, since the road was in a very poor condition. Had we not had a 4x4 wheel drive we would have been stuck or broken the car. Turning to the right instead , even if you drive a bit longer, works very well, as the road is maintained. The normal restaurant (not the Michelin star) was too pricey for the food it serves : a set menu, which with wine comes up to 400 euros for 2 people. .

The gardens are beautiful and the view amazing

The gym was too small - not much equipment and in full sun with no air conditioning so hard to use also not you why the house staff constantly walk in front of guests laying on sun loungers going to and from their staff room? Also the food and alcohol charges are exorbitant and I didn’t particularly like the menu.

Stunning exclusive hotel set in amazing surroundings in the countryside with amazing views. Service was excellent everybody was very attentive. Made to feel welcome from the moment you drive into the resort. Excellent breakfast.

Alcoholic drinks were super expensive there is literally no need to have to pay 40 euros for a glass of sparkling wine

The location is excellent. Amazing views over the coastline. The food was excellent although we didn't have the full tasting menu at the Michelin Restaurant. The meals we had were very good albeit a bit pricey but we were aware of this. We stayed for four nights but two nights would have been enough as there is nowhere local to go and maybe try other restaurants. The staff were very helpful with limited English but enough for each of us to be understood.

I thought I had booked a room with a walk in shower as that was the photo I had from booking.com but it was a shower over a bath. We had sunbeds in our little outside space but were not allowed any cushions similar to those round the pool area. We didn't sit around the main pool as there was no wifi signal and we like to have wifi so this meant we stayed in our little outside space where the wifi was also not great but did work. It is very isolated which we were aware of so I would suggest renting a car to be able to get out and about. Taxis very expensive in the area.
