First as soon as we arrived, the staff was super friendly and nice. The weather was super hot, but they have a fan and AC, which will be helpful with energy consumption aswell, and the windows had mosquito net, so even though I kept the window open, there were 0 mosquitos.

My shower door was scratching the entrance, so I didn't want to close it fully because I didn't want it to break as it was a crystal door.

This hotel feels very new. Everything works. Towels were big and fluffy! Beds were firm but not hard. The staff was super helpful. I liked everything about it.

Clean and peaceful. Walking distance to town and eateries. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Secure off street parking. Drinking water available.

The location overall was good. We were almost at the end of the main strip and it was a pleasant walk to the town center (the plaza). The staff quickly accommodated our request for the bed sheets to be changed since we saw a strand of hair on the bed sheets. The Tamasopo Cascadas were 2 kilometers away from the hotel, so in our car it was about a 6 minute ride. The price was quite good for the accommodations. We were very glad that the air conditioning worked because the heat is pretty strong in July.

I read another review that warned of the train. Well, that train will definitely wake you up if you are not a heavy sleeper. The train tracks are pretty much right next to the hotel although they are hidden by the trees. The first thought that came to my mind when the train woke me up was that I was glad I didn't have any babies in that room because they would certainly be woken up by the very loud sound of the train whistle. The bed was a little hard but I didn't loose sleep over it (Room #4). The water pressure on the shower was not as strong as I would have liked it but it did its job. This place gets very hot and that heat transfers to the water pipes apparently because when I took a shower, there was just no cold water at all. It took about 8 minutes for some semblance of cold water to come out. Parking is very tight. The good thing is that they ask you info about your car so that if you need to get out and someone is blocking your way, they go to the room of that person to ask them to move their car. If you can, bring your own pillow. The pillows we had were quite flat for our liking.
