The hotel is small and intimate with a very friendly staff that were great at giving suggestions on where to eat. Felt very secure as you had to use your keycard to access the elevator to your room and the staff had to give you access to the Hide restaurant. The room was spacious with luxurious linens and great water pressure in the shower that boasts of a Grohe’ shower head and hand-held body spray. The location was steps away from so many fun places to eat, two blocks from the underground mall and World Trade Center. Battery Park was a great walk as well as seeing Trinity Church and the famous bull on Broadway. We were there for the soft opening of ‘Hide’ the 20th and 21st floor restaurant - beautifully decorated with a very attentive staff. The lobster rolls are a must try!

The pictures on the website showed big windows - our room had two very small windows. That was the only disappointment for the room. We would have liked to visit Hide again but the soft opening was Saturday night and they were closed Sunday and Monday - Tuesday they were opened until 11pm but unfortunately by the time we got back from a play they were closing.

Amazing location, very close to all the POI in South Manhattan. Clean and friendly. Not super spacious but decent. Bonus: European-friendly faucets in the bathroom, rare for the US.

More like nice-to-have's: - minibar (not sure, might be illegal for US cause I didn't see them anywhere to be fair) - own breakfast (though lack of it gave us an opportunity to explore the neighbourhood) - better noise protection for the windows. Mostly quiet but sometimes machines come to collect the garbage which is really noisy.

The artezen hotel was fantastic! Our room was so clean, water and beds made everyday. Staff were so friendly and willing to help with any questions or query’s. We found the location great, easy access to subways, ground zero, stock exchange and statan island ferry.

Very lovely staff, the hotel was modern with a relaxing vibe thanks to a beautiful aromatic perfume throughout and the water feature upon entering reception.

The room was relatively small, which meant we didn’t have enough space to store our luggage away (we had 2 large and 2 carry on cases as we were travelling for some time; it may be perfectly adequate for guests travelling lighter). There was only one small wardrobe which meant our clothes didn’t fit in it and we had to keep majority of our stuff in our suitcases. There could be more storage (bigger wardrobe, bedside tables with drawers etc).

The staff at Artezan were personable and friendly. The room (standard king) was decently sized and quite comfortable for 2 people with under-bed storage space and armoire. Plush bathrobes were greatly appreciated in the cold weather. The fitness room provided adequate equipment and a small room for yoga and stretching. We also enjoyed happy hour in the hotel bar.

The bathroom is quite tight, though this allows for more space in the room. Some street noise was present on a Saturday evening (outside of the hotel), which is difficult to control for and provided minor interference.

I stayed at Artezen hotel in NY with my husband and one-year-old baby for a week and our stay was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is perfectly located (subway stops all around, close to all kinds of restaurants and supermarkets, near many tourist attractions). The facilities were impeccable and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, in fact, all of our requirements were taken care of in a warm and thoughtful way. It was really comforting to have water and coffee refilled in the room every morning. We booked a king-sized bed that was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud, we appreciated this after long hours of sightseeing. Also, the Italian restaurant downstairs serves good deal dishes like pasta, salad and paninis - actually, some of the best pistachio pesto I've had in a long while. Long story short, would most definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, we nailed it.

The only con to our stay was that having booked a king-sized bed, there wasn't room left for a crib. Not that this was a big deal as the main bed was big enough to fit three or four people.

I had a wonderful, 10-night stay at Artezen Hotel. The room is comfortable and clean with the little touches that make the stay, such as the slippers and daily water and coffee pods. I felt safe and secure coming home each day. I was on the 6th floor and didn't have much of a view but expected that. The staff are what makes this hotel exceptional - the staff on the front desk and door along with staff I ran into in the lift were super friendly, kind and helpful. It was really nice coming home to a 'welcome back" each day. The Hide rooftop bar is cozy also with quality cocktails and food. Highly recommend:) I look forward to coming back one day!

Hotel location was fantastic. 'A' train from JFK stops just around the corner. There are a couple of little newsagents over the road if you need to pick up any water or snacks. There is also the 'American Irish Bar' directly opposite that serves food late into the evening and a Joes Pizza 2 min along the road. All very handy if you get back late after a day exploring the city. Staff at the hotel were superb all very friendly and even left an 18th Birthday for my daughter in her room.. Rooms were very comfortable and very clean. 👍

I booked a "Petite Queen" size bedroom. A little small for 2 people, not much space to move, but decent. I'm glad the bed fit 2 people comfortably. I love the Nespresso machine inside the room & the one-time snacks they provided on the first day. Location is accessible to everything. Staff are friendly & pleasant... Although when we asked for assistance in booking airport transfer, there was a little miscommunication between the hotel staff and company which resulted in delay. In the end we just booked our own Uber car. There was also a day when the housekeeping didn't change our towels and glasses in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was clean and orderly.

The blue towel that says "make-up" that's inside the bathroom. When I asked the housekeeping, she said it's use to remove make-up! First time I've encountered that... Anyway, in my opinion it's not necessary & I don't find it hygienic as it isn't disposable.

The hotel staff are very friendly, and they do not hang around waiting for tips. The top floor bar area has a good atmosphere and reasonable prices for a city hotel. Location is excellent; 2 minutes walk to the metro; 15 minute walk to the 9/11 memorial, Boston Bridge etc. There is a connecting door in the lobby to the Patisserie next door, and a 5 minute walk to a traditional American Diner on Pearl Street and we took breakfast there twice.

Kettle in the room was some sort of soft travel kettle; we had to ask for replacement lead as it was not working. We gave up on using it, but there was a nespresso coffee machine, and the room had a fridge as well.
