Everything in the hotel was awesome except one matter happened to me and it may be it was an exception.

I booked this hotel for my wife and child who were on a very long trip (international flights), and everything seemed to be awesome until they arrived at Federal Circle Station. Then, the shuttle was not there, so, upon the instruction my wife called the hotel and who answered the call told her "there is no reservation with your name". It was a cold night at 10 pm in December, my family suffered the cold that night and was shocked too. I was with my wife through calls to solve this unexpected and unacceptable issue and luckly at around 1:00 am she did a checked-in.

I arrived at JFK Airport at night and stayed at this hotel because I had to take another flight to Boston the next day. Since it’s close to the airport, it’s a good place to stay briefly when transferring flights, just like we did. The facilities were clean, and the staff were also friendly.

To use the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, you need to call the hotel. We arrived at the shuttle pick-up area and called the hotel, then waited for the shuttle to come. We ended up waiting exactly 50 minutes. You really need a lot of patience to take this hotel’s shuttle bus.

The staff was great. The room was clean and well maintained.

There was a little confusion with my room when I checked in. The battery for the magnetic lock was dead. I had to go downstairs twice before they sent someone to correct this. Considering it seemed to be only one elevator working, it took some time to go up, come down, go back up, come back down, and go up again. It was a bit much after traveling all morning. Nonetheless, the staff at the front desk got me into another room. The location doesn't have adequate free parking in the vicinity, so I was forced to opt for vallet, which was pretty pricey at $40. per day. $120. for my stay.

The hotel was nice enough, especially for a hotel so close to the airport. The room was very comfortable and everywhere was spotless. The staff were very friendly. We came down to the restaurant for 6:00 when there was complimentary wine and cheese being served, which was very nice. We had dinner, which was nice.

We arrived in reception at 05:20 for the shuttle. A lady told us she had arrived for the 05:00 but it had already left. There were quite a few people waiting for the shuttle and at 5:40, one of the guests left the queue to ask where the 05:30 shuttle was. Having radio'd through to the driver, apparently, the shuttle was stuck in traffic. Another driver was allocated to us, but he was not at all happy! We left the hotel around 05:45, but several people had left the queue to get an Uber instead. We went to Terminal 8 first and then on to Terminal 4, but we were dropped at arrivals instead of departures, so ended up lugging our cases around the terminal to find where we needed to be.

We really appreciated the half-hourly scheduled shuttle service to JFK. The room was clean and comfortable though not spacious. There was a gentlemen serving as a greeter, bellman, ice cream dispenser and fountain of information. I can't remember his name, but he made a huge difference in our stay. Give that man a raise. The front desk staff was also very helpful. You can buy food on property, but you can also order food delivery from a couple of Chinese restaurants and pizza places.

A minor issue. There aren't garbage cans on the floors or lower level (meeting room and gym area) that I could find. The ones I located were small and by the front entrance.

The staff is lovely and professional. The room was immaculate and the rain shower was excellent. We were offered two complimentary drink cards which was very nice.

There was nothing I did not like. Just some suggestions. The coffee machine in the room was not working. Had it been longer than a night we were staying, I would have requested a new one. And the TV service was inconsistent. It kept blacking out. Again we were only there really to reset. Thought there would be coffee in the lobby but it seemed it was there only if you paid for it. In other states there is always coffee available in the lobby. I am from NYC and I always find we are a bit stingy on amenities like these. At $312.00 a night, it just would have been nice to see coffee in the lobby for free.

At federal station the shuttle phones didn't work. Also the direct line phone number wasn't answered. Staff at the desk didn't listen to my question. Kept interrupting and guessing an answer. Three attempts. In the morning, same again. So hard to converse. Shuttle driver dropped us off at arrivals not departure. I said this is arrivals. He said it's terminal 5. I said yes but how to I get to departures. He said terminal 5. Drove off.

This was my 2nd stay here. Staff is attentive and very supportive of one's needs. We received a rollaway bed within minutes due to our circumstances. Check-out was flexible for our needs. A blind couple checked in while I was there, and the assistance extended to them was impressive, just the right mix of do's and don't's. I greatly appreciated to see the two shuttles available with two drivers, this was not available last time I stayed here.

Booking.com messaging are on autopilot, do not expect any personal communication as nobody replies to your inquiries.

Location, practical, I artived late and the bar was open until 23:00 for a snack and there is a "market" where I could by some essentials, like food, drinks and other. Airport shuttle was veru easy to find and use

A minor thing, that I was told to wait outside for the shuttle to the airport and after 15 min when I checked it the person at the reception was surprised I'm still there. I had enough time so no harm done, but make sure to communicate your pick up time and where to wait if you are in a hurry other than that, great choice and shuttle worked very good

We had dinner and it was good. Our flight was canceled due to weather, so we couldn’t fly out until the next day. The hotel stay gave us an extra expense, so we were happy with the free shuttle to and from the airport.
