One has to keep in mind that it is an airport hotel, not a destination one. It is not far from the airport and the hotel offers shuttle. On arrival we had to wait for more than 30 mins, but this was due to traffic. For departure one needs to book the shuttle in advance. There were too many people for our time slot and the hotel organized additional cab ride (for free). The staff was polite, professional and helpful. Hotel was clean and modern. At the reception one can buy basic necessities if needed. Hotel's neighbourhood is not really appealing. But we stayed only for one night. There are some fast-foods around. The rooms are reasonably quiet. Would stay in the hotel again if needed.

I booked this hotel for me and my 5 year old, as our flight back home was canceled . The reviews were great , hence my booking. The shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and back is perfect, the staff is very helpful, the room was super clean, and so was the rest of the hotel. We had to leave the hotel by 6 am, but the breakfast was already ready at 5.45am, which allowed us to grab some food before heading to the airport.

Greeted by friendly courtesy bus driver, he was helpful with the cases. The two ladies on reception where very kind & certainly treated us with friendly helpful advice. The room was very clean & the shower was large & lots of very hot water. Towels large & very white. The breakfast was a great surprise….help yourself selection, cereal, fruit, hot choices, bagels etc …a super lady who keeps everything fresh & makes you waffles as well. She is a complete gem. The icing on the cake for me as a Brit…was good tea bags, hot water & fresh milk ….a good cup of tea. Well done everyone at Fairmont.

The area felt safe and secure. The hotel was clean and suited perfectly for air travelers. Breakfast was early, and the shuttle started early. When the shuttle filled up the staff arranged for complementary cars to the airport for people who had pre-registered for a shuttle.

One room was on the back side of the hotel and it was very quiet. One of our rooms on the front was very noisy and they had a hard time sleeping for all of the road noise. The shuttle was running behind in the morning and took longer to make rounds for pickup at the airport than some of the other hotels. We saw other shuttles come back three and four times before ours made one trip.

About as smooth as we could have asked for getting off the flight - air train to federal circle where the shuttle was waiting- to the hotel and checked in SEAMLESSLY which my family appreciated after a late arrival. The lady at check in was super nice and friendly and made it a breeze! Room was clean and comfortable. We were really impressed with the breakfast actually ! Good options even little quiches and a very friendly lady making waffles for everybody. Communication from the manager with specific directions about shuttle etc. was very good through booking.com messages! Thank you!

Price seemed pretty steep even booked far in advance but maybe that's just New York. Didn't look like the friendliest part of town around the hotel but we felt fine at the hotel.

This hotel thanks to their staff deserves 10 stars. Location is not very nice, but they have an amazing shuttle service to the airport and from there you can reach the city or any other place. It is very clean and the staff really trying to make you feel very good. Breakfast is also good, there could be more variety especially if you stay 6-7 nights, you get bored of the same food, but overall for a business stay this hotel deserves 10 stars :)

I booked this hotel for my daughter who was traveling to Nashville to meet family. The trip came about very quickly so we I booked the hotel a day in advanced. Hotel policy states that you need to be 21 on day of check in. But very helpful manager took care of that and the hotel looked after my daughter and kept her safe as she is 19. Amazing checkin, good breakfast and hotel staff went beyond in their help. JFK shuttle was full but the staff took care of that and made sure she got to the airport.

Close to the airport for a quick overnight stay. Shuttle rides worked perfectly. Breakfast was awesome and the lady working in that area was great, friendly and so nice.

We had a room on the 2nd floor which was actually the first floor. I looked out the window from our room and it was ground level, to my surprise. The cafe was on a lower level that they called first floor and the reception area was on the 2nd floor according to the elevator but on first floor. Sounds confusing but not too much. Probably would have preferred a higher level room in this neighborhood.

Excellent team and service throughout. From the pre-arrival welcome and useful notes for how to catch the shuttle, to the excellent handling in finding us the perfect room for our needs everything was perfect. The breakfast team were also kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The fitness room has everything you could need. Great performance from start to finish!

I liked everything about our stay and would recommend everyone to stay here if looking for a comfortable, easy access to the airport hotel with exceptional service!

Super convenient to JFK Airport. Shuttle service provided by the hotel was easy and friendly. The rooms were clean and seemed new. Comfy room with nice bathroom and shower. I liked how the TV was hooked up to youtube. The hot breakfast in the lobby was great.

It was fine, but a little pricy.
