Breakfast was served on time and location was pretty clean that I mostly I enjoyed. But I hope the price could be a little lower..

Customer service representative wasn't paying attention what was I was inquiring about. Seems like he really don't care about the customer or for for the business. The employee need motivation also let management explain to him that he have a really important role for represent this establishment

Loved the clean bathroom with Dove soap products and the excellent breakfast. A+ for the kuerig in the room, and appreciated that there was no carpeting.

The style of the room lacked any welcoming vibes. Very basic plastic type furniture.

A lot of people complain in their reviews about the location not being very nice. I would essentially agree with that, but it is still, in my opinion, a great choice for a over-night stay if you get stranded on JFK or if you need to get some sleep during your layover. Besides that, I had to leave for my flight at 3 AM from the hotel and I got to the Jamaica AirTrain station with no problems – it is a 5 minute walk after all. I have also read complaints about the fact, that the front desk is behind bullet-proof glass, but that does not seem that outlandish to me. Once I got into my room, it was very clean and comfortable, with all amenities I needed.

Good price/location/value. It has good location: a) 5 minutes walking from Jamaica station b)20minutes from JFK airtrain to Jamaica station c) 25minutes LIRR train ride to Penn station in Manhattan d) ~40 minutes from LaGuardia airport (bus+metro) e) 45minutes metro ride to Manhattan downtown There are several places to eat (most of them takeaway), all ok (nothing fancy) and reasonably priced. Room was clean and good size. All clean. Breakfast - reasonable, no changes during day to day. Surroundings - maybe so so at first but felt safe during night. Did not walked much further from hotel.

There was always noise from ice machine nearby and some kind of ventilator every morning. Breakfast is said to start 6:30 but it does at 7 - changes in plans.

This was a lovely location like less than 5 mins walk to the subway. The provided nice hot breakfast options and lots of other items to choose from. The house keeping persons were very nice and friendly the did their job very well. The front desk guys were very accommodating and understanding when our flight got delayed and allowed us to do late check out on such a short notice we really appreciated that very much .

I stayed there for like 8 days and during our stay the sheets were only changed once . Having your sheets Change every 5 days during your stay was a bit uncomfortable and unreasonable.

The handsome gentleman with the nice mustache was absolutely outstanding! I can't recall his name, but he was on duty during my stay from May18-19th. Very close to the AirTran and was very comfortable for the night. Lots of food options and other modes of public transit accessible.

More drink and snack options! I'd like for the local businesses to collaborate with the hotel to stock their pantry with goods, which allows people who don't want to venture out late to try some local foods/ support the community.

This hotel is perfect! So close to the Metro-AirTrain to JFK-LIRR hub. You will be hard pressed to find a hotel of this quality in the area. Well-lit and very Clean. Even though I had a king bed in a single room it was still spacious. Soap, bodywash, shampoo etc. are provided in the bathroom and you can get complimentary toiletries at the desk. The included buffet breakfast was a lifesaver and decent, the coffee was fresh and hot, the orange juice cold and fresh. The room also had a safe, microwave, iron and board, Keurig coffee machine, and a larger than usual mini fridge. The price was competitive and I hope it doesnt go up too much because I very much want to make this hotel a go-to when traveling in the area.

Very clean, comfortable, thoughtfully appointed Hotel with comfy beds. I was impressed by the Dove toiletries in the bathroom, the blackout curtain and the fridge and microwave - very thoughtful touches. Also, there's a wonderful breakfast buffet with a spacious dining area that's a great send off for people coming and going from a tiring trip. Lastly, the JFK airport area is kind of dodgy, but this hotel felt very safe and secure, with everything provided so you didn't need to venture out and wander.

One very minor detail - a curb cut or ramp area outside the hotel would be convenient for wheeled suitcases, strollers and such.

considering Holiday Inn's prior reputation based on their sites in past years, this was a pleasant stay for an emergency requirement. We didn't get to use much as we got there late and left early, but there was a coffee machine, fridge, microwave. There was enough toiletries; soap, shower gel etc in the bathroom, but we did have to ask for toothbrush and paste downstairs and we were given 2 bottles of water when we asked. The room itself was a good size with all amenities present. The shower was strong and hot and the white towels were in very good condition. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the AC was effective such that we had to turn it off on arrival and didn't need to turn it on again, so good insulation. Cabs to JFK around $20
