The check is automated via a door code that activates at 3pm. A staff member called in the morning to ensure we received our room number and code via email. We arrived a bit early and needed to drop our bags off before going for a tour and they kindly sent a housekeeping staff to open the door for us. The room was clean and the bathroom looked like recently renovated.

We only stayed for a night as it was a quick layover for us but it provided all we needed. Close to airport, to our helicopter tour office and very clean facilities. Lots of restaurants nearby too.

We had a self-check-in and check-out so the process was very quick. We simply got the room code per whatsapp message. The room was small but the right size for a couple and the bed was very comfordable. It was very clean and had enough towels and shower gel/shampoo and soap for our stay.

The windows were louver windows so they were not closing properly and it was a bit loud. The roller shades were not thick so it was getting bright early. We also seen tiny ants in the bathroom.

It's a motel. You'll have plenty of parking options, the shower is hot and the room is clean. Bathroom will have soap and shower gel with one towel per person. When checking in after 2:30pm they'll tell you the room number and leave the door open for a self check in. It's more expensive than usual motels, but that's just the Hawaiian price. It's still one of the cheapest options. My Fitbit recorded the best sleep I ever had although I'd say it's a usual bed. Generally would recommend and stay there again.

I liked its location, the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the bed. Loved the shower. It had good proximity to Walmart supermarket.

Only thing I was less keen on was how dark the room was even during the day and the height of the windows. It would have been nice to have them lower down. Privacy wouldn’t have been affected.

This is a simple motel with simple accommodations. It is clean and comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. We slept great. Keyless entry without reception was convenient. It's very close to the airport. I'd stay again.

It's one of the most affordable places to stay in the area. Good price for the market, but it still felt overpriced.

We rented primarily to crash for the evening and freshen up before a late night flight back to the mainland. The outside of the motel was freshly painted, well kept up, clean. The room was very clean, nice tile “wood plank” floor, shower was walk-in/no tub, large/tiled and clean. no frills- no hairdryer, extra pillows etc. just a room, flat screen TV on a wall swing arm, good wifi, large nitro in the wall, window AC unit, plenty of outlets, and bathroom. The bed seemed on the firm side however we didn’t sleep overnight here, so will defer to other reviewers. Great communication Re: check-in after hrs which was smooth, never met the staff. Very close to the airport-3 min drive.

This is excellent value for what we needed - one "bridge" night before our flight home. No frills (no frills at all), but clean and comfortable and quiet and safe.

Air conditioner was a little loud and hard to adjust to exactly what I wanted. I ended up just using the fan feature which was adequate, but a little toasty.

Great location with easy access to the rest of the island. The staff was pleasant and quick to accommodate requests. It's a great choice if you're planning on getting down and dirty exploring the island and then coming back to crash for the night. Same location as the Tip Top Cafe, which is the local hotspot for breakfast and lunch (you have to try the pancakes!).

If your intention for visiting Kauai is to live in the lap of luxury and occasionally take a peek at the island, then this is not the place for you, and that's perfectly fine! If your intention is to have a place to crash after a full day of hiking/exploring, then I'm not sure you could do better. FYI; AC can be noisy, and the room doesn't have a mini fridge to keep drinks/snacks temperature controlled.

Great value for money considering other properties around.

Door locks didn't feel very secure.
