Overall, comfortable room, excellent "Club" on the 40th floor that is SO worth paying extra for - it means breakfast is included, and they do free canapes and drinks up there in the early evening. There's enough food that you can make a light supper out of it.

Food is really overpriced for what it is, but there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent (spare bed was dirty), somedays we were lacking certain towels, etc.

The location was excellent, definitely Polanco is a great neighborhood. The food at the lobby's restaurant was great. All staff members are very accommodating and polite.

There is so much space in the lobby that I was surprise you don't have a piano. A grand piano it will make the place look elegant. I think you should have one and not what is typical of hotels an old piece of junk, but a good quality instrument. It will be nice to have somebody playing on a regular basis. Remember is part of the experience.

Absolutely amazing view! The room was very modern and spacious with noiseless AC. If you are hungry, the restaurant offers decent food options, but on the other hand it’s in relatively safe neighborhood, so you can have a nice walk and pay a visit to many great restaurants in the area.

The bed was just terrible - way too soft for comfortable sleep and we woke up with a pain in our backs. It’s a common issue in Mexico, but I would expect that a hotel like Hyatt offers same standard as in its other properties around the World.

The location was excellent in the Polanco neighborhood. The room was very good, with huge bathrooms and very clean. Breakfast was out of the world. Since we were only vegetarians, the staff made the extra effort to make some vegetarian items every day and serve us. It was really unbelievable.

There was nothing not to like

Staff were very friendly and available at all times if needed. We had a room on a higher floor with a great view of the park and city beyond. The location of this hotel was perfect and nestled into the great Polanco neighborhood. It was very easy to get around and navigate the city plus very close to some museums.

The hotel is very well located in Polanco, which is very nice and residential and feels very safe. But after visiting Mexico city I think Roma is a better location. The room was comfortable and I booked a room with view to the park which was nice. It is high rise hotel with 40+ floors, and since I dont like elevators, it was always stressing to go up to 20th floor but the elevators are pretty fast. I liked the way room service is ordered, which is like making an online order but then one cant ask questions on what is included or can be taken out. I didnt tour all the facilities but I liked the restaurant downstairs and the coffee shop.

I dont like high-rise buildings, so I had to ask for a room at the lowest floor and I got one on the 20th floor (still too high). The concierge was ok, but not warm or anything welcoming. I had tea at the hotel restaurant downstairs that came either not hot, no napkins, no cookie or anything to accompany it, which for a 5 star hotel, should be included. I asked for a hot chocolate one night and got a lucky warm beverage and very sweet.

We loved our “club” room 35th floor view of the park and the daily breakfast buffet on the 40th floor

The bathroom door is a sliding door and when you lock it, it makes a loud clicking sound. Also the lights in the bathroom are motion sensored so that if you go there in middle of the night the light from the bathroom will wake up your partner in the bed. The gym lockers in the fitness area , I couldnt for the life of me figure out how to actually lock them and there wasnt a male staff member around to assist me (men’s locker).
