A large living room with separate bedroom and leading onto a private terrace. It is very close to the lake but there was a mosquito net door out to the terrace so we were not bothered by mosquitos at all. The room had dining tables and chairs, large sofa, armchair and kitchenette with fridge and basic crockery, pans and utensils. We dined in the hotel every evening but the fridge was a great asset in the very hot weather for chilling drinks. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent. We took the half board deal which gave limited choice but the quality of the food was super. The swimming pool is lovely and we usually had it to ourselves. The staff were helpful and friendly.

There was nothing to dislike. I had read previous reviews and it seemed to me that the hotel management had acted upon them - mosquito nets, kitchen equipment included, service in the restaurant good.

Our stay was exceptionally great. The breakfast was out of this world great. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. Upon request, I was given the option to fetch a pot of coffee so we could have coffee in bed. The spa area is well thought out and spacious. We were really able to relax. The gym is a bit narrow, but we managed to work out twice and it was great. A wonderful addition and it was really good to be able maintain our routine. Finally, if there's any questions left open: We already booked our stay for next year...

The wifi was a tad unreliable - but that could have just been a hint by the universe to unplug a bit.

Great SPA zone and good massage — there were not so many people in the SPA zone every time we went there, so definitely an amazing experience. Very good breakfast buffet — variety of food and tastes were high level. The room was ok, in good condition, though the floor looked a bit "tired". We definitely enjoyed our stay and properly relaxed before the new year.

However, even though the room had a kitchen, we were asked to pay 10€ to get the pots, plates and cutlery. It sounds like a really weird thing to me... Another thing we were strongly disappointed with, is that we received the tickets for public transport, and asked the receptionist if there is a bus to the town and if there are any peculiarities. He was like "yeah, bus drives there and back". And nobody told us that half of the buses available (namely route 014) is actually a taxi and you should order it the day before until 16:00. Yes, you can use it with your ticket, but you need to call it. Meanwhile the normal bus is literally driving three times a day. Just... why not inform guests about that? Would save us some time.

Lovely location with view of the Tiefwarensee, 10 minute bike ride to Waren. Large room with very comfy beds although the covers were too thick for summer. Nice dining room and a great breakfast. Excellent spa area, a great place to relax. Good bike trails in the area with lovely scenery!

The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the menu sounded interesting but the quality of the food for the rather high prices wasn't great.

Excellent hotel with good size rooms, lovely swimming pool, well located to explore the national park and a very good breakfast too.

Sauna and lake combination was great. Hotel was very nice

Only thing was the dinner buffet was a little expensive for the quality of what was offered. Would’ve been nice to have a drink included in the 28€ per person price.

Such friendly people - needed a family get away and it felt like we were so well looked after. Endless kindness, hospitality, great weather and very nice rooms that were very practical and clean. Highly recommended.
