A wonderful old place with a beautiful pool and garden. The owners are such a warm and helpful coupple. Food is highly recommended.

The property was stunning. A beautiful, historic building surrounded by orange groves. The swimming pool was great and everything was very clean and well maintained. The breakfasts were wonderful!

It would be great if we could have purchased drinks or snacks from the hotel during the day

Location was very good, in an old house isolated in the middle of the countryside. Still, a couple of very nice restaurants could be reached by a short walk (15 minutes or so). The installations were good, although everything was a bit old and slightly shabby. Very good quality of sleep. A basic brekfast. Very good pool and parking space.

As said, everything was a bit outdated and the place could do with a renovation. Maybe it was partly the consequences of Covid. Also, on our last night, there was a dinner-with-party celebrating some academical achievements. It did not end late, around 15 minutes past midnight, but it was unexpected. Apparently, this is not uncommon around this time of year in many establishments,

The villa looks beautiful. For everyone who loves the old Italian style this is the right place. I liked the pool the most, it is big, clean, and the sun loungers are good. The breakfast was good, every day there was something new and it was regularly replenished. The parking lot is huge. The yard is large. Beautiful nature around. They cleaned the room every morning. To go to the city and the beach you need a car, but the train is also a good option and costs 1.5 euros.

The owner's attitude towards non-Italian speaking guests. The owner spoke English to us only during check-in (he speaks good English). He was constantly around, walking around, but not to help us, but to control what was going on. If we said good morning to him in English in the morning, he would literally ignore us when we were not there. He only talked to Italian guests. In 4 days he never asked us if everything was okay, although he was constantly present. He reacted rudely when a guest at the pool used a net by the pool to catch moths in the water. He said that the gate is usually closed but it doesn't lock, however, one night we arrived from the city around 2 in the morning, and the gate was locked (we were not given the key) and we literally had to jump over the fence to get into the yard.

The pool was a lovely feature and definitely the highlight of our stay.

We were a little disappointed with certain aspects of our stay. The welcome at reception was not particularly warm, and staff interaction throughout our visit felt rather reserved, which left us a little uncomfortable. We also felt that not speaking Italian may have limited the attention given by the owner. The property itself looks much better in the photos, but in reality would really benefit from some refreshing. The description was also somewhat misleading, as there is no on-site restaurant. Kitchen provisions were quite minimal — items such as a tea towel, chopping board, or tea cups would have been very useful. Breakfast was basic, mainly bread and pastries, and we had to request simple things like bowls which we expected to be available. Overall, there was a slightly stale atmosphere both in the environment and in the staff’s approach.
