It’s close to the bus stop. Only a minute or two away. It’s close to the ocean. It’s close to the places that I wanted to visit— literally minutes away. You can see that there have been new items added over the years. The place is well maintained. My room was on the second floor facing the ocean and the sunrise. The food was delicious and varied. The owner was very friendly.

The internet was weak when there were others using it at the same time. They close on Wednesdays for maintenance and generally many of the businesses are also closed. They are few restaurants to eat lunch nearby. You have to catch a bus to go to the opposite side of town to find a grocery store or restaurant.

It’s out in nature. The ocean is steps away, birds sing, hawks circle, unusual rock formations are all along the road sides, greenery, high mountains, spiritual places and travelers. The food is excellent! Lots of fish served in some many ways, each with a different flavor. Even cervicce. The hotel though older has undergone many changes and is well maintained. The owner, Richi, is friendly and speaks a little English and uses translating app.The soaking bath is nice for tired bodies.

I had to book for two separate days and a different locale because they are closed on Wednesdays, so is the town. There are few eateries close by for lunches. Best to catch a bus to get to the other side where the businesses are. I walked for two hours and got to the center of Muroto city and gave up . It’s very remote and rural. Getting there is tiring and time consuming. You have to go to the end of the JR line, take an hour one car train ride, take an hour bus ride to get there.

I am a financially entitled Henro walking Shikoku in February. I was fascinated by Cape Muroto. I wanted to day off from walking and took it in Muroto. I chose the only open place and it was beyond expectations. The Ashford Castle of Kochi! Great room, great view, amazing staff. Beyond belief food

Traditional Japanese hotel whose owners/staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. The food was incredible and they were more than happy to cater for my food allergies. We had great company and conversation with other guests with using our basic Japanese and via google translate. A beautiful setting.

The location is absolutely superb. Our stay here was a fantastic experience. We availed of the men's and women's hot baths, which were wonderful, and wore the kimonos that were supplied in the room. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and breakfast was very generous. We have marvellous memories of our stay here.

Excellent hotel ! The place is beautiful, perfect location. Rooms are nice and big. They have a huge bath to relax after a long day of walking. The staff is exceptionally nice and the breakfast was one of the best I've had so far. Highly recommend!

A beautiful and very special hotel. Don’t go here, if you look for anything modern and standard, its a time capsule. Meters from the sea, you’ll hear it! Great hospitality! Great food! Bus Stop just outside the door.

The cute vintage charm of the place mixed with directly on the beach location made this my favorite stay so far of my shikoku pilgrimage. Kind and attentive staff with great english ability helped me feel welcome and comfortable during me stay even though I don’t speak japanese. The bath was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious!

You get a warm welcome and the rooms in the new building look out on the ocean, you have your own toilet and bathroom, and there are chairs.

Wonderful staff, friendly, communicative even though I don't speak Japanese. The food was good. A highlight was watching the sun rise over the ocean from my futon.
