Wada-San at the front desk was professional, welcoming, patient and helpful. After arriving, we ending up staying two additional days. We particularly enjoyed the social hours and the onsen, which was one of the best that we’ve come across during our past month in Japan. Our room was quite spacious. Many tour buses pull up to this hotel and unload groups of guests, but we did not feel overlooked or undervalued. The buffet dinner was not of the highest quality but was certainly worthy just to experience - something for everyone is offered. Plenty of parking available.

Our room had a wonderful view but was quite dated and “tired” from many years of use.

The room had a lot of wear on the carpet, but overall it was well-maintained. It was very spacious and had a convenient layout, which made for a comfortable stay. The hot spring, in particular, was large and well-equipped, and the sauna temperature was just right. The lounge area where you could relax after the hot spring bath was also great. I highly recommend it.

The nearest convenience store is 1.3 km away, so if you arrive late at night, it's recommended to prepare some snacks and drinks in advance.

EXCEPTIONNEL! Everything! Exceptional hotel, very nice. Large room very comfortable, with a sofa, western beds, a tatamis place with small table. Very clean. Very good wifi. Large private free parking. High quality. For a very surprisingly reasonable price. Very quiet. No noise. Good "insonorisation". You have the quality you will get in a Mercure Hotel in France. Lovely onsen with many amenities, bath inside and bath outside with nice view and nice stones "surrounding" the bath. We didn't use the large swimming pool as not the season for. Incredible and tastefully and huge dinner Buffet. Huge choice, huge quantity, very good. Same for the breakfast. Both are in the restaurant last floor with a lovely and very nice view on the sea.

The Japanese room was large and airy, though there were no real futons, but low matrasses instead. The free lounge extensive drinks and snacks offer was a an unexpected bonus. The whole place is immaculately clean and the surroundings are beautifully maintained.

What we didn't expect in a Mercure hotel: a small, outdated tv screen without any international channel and a narrow plastic bathroom cubicle, the kind of which you encounter in every cheap hotel. Also, there was only one big light in the room, no side lights

A very good boom era hotel that is in good condition and has been updated we had a room on a high floor with a great view out to sea. Dinner and breakfast were included in our booking. Both were excellent Free alcoholic drinks were also included. The onsen is worth a visit, though sadly the outside pool doesn't open until July ..

The onset is fabulous, the free drinks and snacks are amazing. Staff were super helpful.

Three things. You actually can’t get a coffee in the morning. I find this very odd as coffee is free in the afternoon. Second, the rooms are a little tired. They don’t match the standard of the rest of the hotel. And, there is one restaurant and it is expensive. There is a shop that sells some snacks, but very few options.

The buffet was indeed plentiful but very little option for vegetarians. One soy ‘mince’ nachos specifically for vegan and salad. Pretty much everything else contained meat or fish. Even the rice and other side dishes. Would love to see more options without meat or fish

Property is going through a major upgrade and the common areas have been completed. I suppose they are going to work on the rooms next even though the rooms are already very comfortable. Great ocean view, and nice Japanese spa. They serve great breakfast with variety and quality..

The spa and social hours were great. The restaurant meals were delicious and had plenty of options.

The shower's temperature in our room did not work properly, it would go from hot to cold without touching the dial, but would mostly remain cold even when turned all the way up.

Amazing! Rooms were very spacious and well appointed with a great view of the ocean. The breakfast was great and the happy our twice a day between 4pm-6pm and 9pm-11pm with a free open bar with nibbles was unique. Can’t forget the onsen which also was great!
