Great breakfast buffet with lots of variety! Literally pretty much everything you could want for breakfast (mostly Japanese options but some western foods like waffles, eggs, and bacon). Was able to sightsee all afternoon without getting hungry after. Staff were super kind and the amenities were clean. The location was super convenient.
I specifically booked this hotel because I saw pictures of the public bath in the photos provided on Booking.com (I love a good soak, especially when I travel). However, the photo of the public bath online must have been the men's bath. The women's bath was significantly smaller than in the photo. It only had three shower stations meaning that there ended up being a long line/wait to take a bath. I went at 9:30 (the bath is open until 11 in the evenings) so I wasn't expecting it to be so busy and even then, it wasn't so busy that an additional few shower stations wouldn't have addressed the problem. This is the first time this has happened to me in a bathhouse so I was a bit surprised.

The room I had in the older building was clean enough and very comfortable. Staff were always nice, great buffet breakfast. Big shared bath with a sauna is a plus. Great value for money!

This hotel has a great downtown location in Kochi within walking distance to the central shopping arcade. It doesn't face the main street though, so you have to walk towards the canals. The breakfast is served in a Chinese-style restaurant seating, so it was a full grandiose buffet with lots of space. The breakfast is easily the best part of the hotel.
The room was stuffy and hot. Yes it was the peak of summer, but it was surprising how bad the room felt and what's worse, it took a while for me to understand the airconditioning controls to set it right. The room also felt old even though it was supposed to be in the new wing.
