In general very clean and nice hotel in an okay location a bit out of the centre. Staff speaks English or tries really hard to and is super friendly. They helped us book train tickets. Rooms are spacious, the AC works well and the breakfast is nice.

Bathroom (as with the most in Asia) could have been cleaned a bit better to my taste (mold in the corners). Location is not the best if you want to wander in and out of the centre. But then again, the metro station nextdoor was under construction so accessibility was not the best at this time.

The convenience of having the shopping mall within the same building as the hotel, with plenty of eateries and bubble tea shops like HeyTea and Chagee. It was perfect for winter time, without having to dress in many layers to grab food. The room was spacious, had sufficient space for the luggages and a walk-in wardrobe to hang the winter jackets. All basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothbrush/toothpaste were all provided. The hotel breakfast spread was also good and had live noodle and omelette stations. Overall service was excellent!

No laundry facilities onsite. Would have been good if there are coin operated machines.

The proximity to Chengdu Raffles City Shopping Mall which has good range of restaurants, fashion stalls, an arcade, bookstore and a supermarket. There is also McDonalds and a few bakeries. It was also about 7-8 minutes walk to the Sichuan Gym subway station. The hotel allowed us to check-out later and we appreciate that window, given that our flight was at 6pm. The rooms were comfortable and bathroom were huge and clean. Like that we were able to use the washing machine and dryer. Furnishings were a little dated but overall, it was really nice experience and certainly value for money.

It was not within walking distance to Chunxi Road and Tianfu Road. By didi, it took us about 20-30 minutes given the road condition.

It’s very well-maintained though it’s not new. Service is good. They arranged for a wheelchair on request and also booked tickets for me to Chengdu panda as my WeChat could not be set up successfully. There’s usually at least one who speaks English fluently at the reception. It is very convenient to find food that we liked at the shopping centre. There’s a great coffee place just beside. The two bedroom apartments are big and spacious, with efficient washer and dryer that were so convenient.

The breakfast offers a large selection of Western and Asian foods. Their noodle station was varied and pretty good! Our two bedroom plus living room was huge and even had a washing machine and dryer, which we used quite often! The kitchen has all the basic amenities. Their 24 hour gym was also nice to use! The hotel is connected to Raffles City mall so it was very convenient.

This is normally a great location but there is some construction due to the Metro station so we didn’t appreciate the construction noises in the early morning nor the inconvenience of having to fight motorists, pedestrians, bikes and electric bikes to get to the subway station when normally we would have access to it right in the basement.

The staff were excellent, our room was sensational, so big and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was different every day, and plenty of delicious food. Great location only 5km from all the great places and about 45 mon drive to the Panda's. Would highly recommend the Ascott Raffles. And it is attached to a shopping centre.

Nothing, everything was fantastic we couldn't complain about 1 thing, we loved it.

We loved the shops underneath the hotel!! Super convenient for grocery and for a meal, with lots to choose from. The staff are so helpful and well trained, their service is top notch, which was the most unforgettable part of our stay. Breakfast is different everyday with several staple items, plus a chef counter who cooks fresh noodles, dumplings and wontons etc upon request. The location is convenient too, being close to a metro station with 2 lines, despite the recent construction happening right outside.

Our room lacked the dryer that was supposed to be on top of the washing machine. The hotel staff gave me a cloth hanger for drying which we preferred anyway. That’s about the main thing.

location outside the metro stop and across the street was perfect. the metro is along the line to/from the airport as well as getting into the city center. It's an ideal location to get to many parts within the city via the metro..

The directions from the metro to the hotel are a bit confusing. Better instructions perhaps include photos, would help find the hotel straight away...

Whilst choosing my hotel in Chengdu I read a review on Ascott saying that the breakfast was limited. I have to say that whilst it is not as extensive as other hotels the selection was excellent and the quality exceptional. We really enjoyed starting every day of our trip with the breakfast at Ascott, and having great family bonding time. The rooms were spacious!

Room is very large and well equipped. Great for family. I booked 2 bedrooms apartment with bathroom in each bedroom. There is sofa and dinning table for sitting, relaxing together. The hotel is adjacent to Raffles city depatment store which is very convenient for shopping and restaurants. Veey luxurious with affordable price. We will definitely come back to stay here in the future.
