Alamanda is the most complete resort that we've stayed in anywhere in the world! Set above Lovina it sits seamlessly within the tropical landscape, at one with nature. The facilities (villas, rooms and pools etc) step down through the most well tendered gardens imaginable past the vast yoga sala (not that yoga is my thing) arriving at the bar/restaurant and main pool. The staff were endlessly helpful and accommodating and the food including the Dutch snacks was excellent. We'll be back next year. PS - every day the linen and towels were changed. Fabulous.

Friendly staff, exceptional pools. Restaurant had good food with both local and western dishes. Quiet and peaceful environment with amazing shrubs and planting. Minnie in the office was so helpful with organizing spa treatments and trips. Lovely property. Staff operating the shuttle to town and back were very helpful with dropping us near restaurants etc. staff able and willing to make in town recommendation’s for where to go/eat etc.

We loved everything. The property is on a mountain side so terraced and steep with steps to each area. Part Of its charm but something to be aware of if mobility an issue

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and polite. The room was large and clean. Every corner of the hotel was a garden. The view of the sunset from the infinity pool was amazing. It was a very relaxing place. The hotel provided a shuttle bus from the mountain to the main road, and also offered massage and dolphin tour. If you are afraid of small insects, this might not be your first choice. But if you want quality and nature, this is definitely the top 1.

The grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Truly a breathtaking property that you'd struggle to not relax away into bliss. Numerous pools, yoga, and an on-site restaurant and bar add to the list of reasons for never needing to leave. Some of the best sunset views from the infinity pool All of these amenities are nothing without the staff. Alamanda Lovina has the best staff of anywhere I stayed over the last month. The owner provided some excellent suggestions for outings and made sure anything I needed or had questions about were addressed. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone from the staff at the entrance who insisted on carrying my over packed luggage to the daily cleaning staff to the yoga instructor and the restaurant staff. I highly recommend anyone staying in Lovina who wants a relaxing stay away from the city chaos to stay here. You will not regret it at all.

A HUGE Thank you to Alamanda Lovina Resort. I left today after 8 days of pure bliss. From the moment I arrived I was beautifully looked after, my room was clean, fresh and gorgeous. I had the jungle room facing over the stunning gardens that are tended lovingly daily by the gardeners. My room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and filtered bottled water for drinking. The 2 infinity pools are divine as too is the hot tub. Divine Balinese massages onsight were heavenly and morning yoga with Lola overlooking the gardens was magical. The staff and owner were all so kind, full of smiles and honestly could not do enough to ensure I had the best stay. Pool side drinks, fresh juices and lovely meals. Missing this wonderful retreat already.

The gardens, the pool, the yoga shalah. The warm croissants at breakfast were a treat even though the included breakfast was quite limited. This hotel is a gem!

Lack of beside table and lamps and reading light, my room was above the kitchen so a bit noisy at times but not disturbing. There’s a sign at the yoga shala to join class every morning but nobody told me I had to sign up first so more communication upon arrival would be great.

Such a nice place to stay in Lovina. Relaxing atmosphere. The staff and owners are very friendly. Everything is perfectly clean, from the natural swimming pool to the room. The bed is very comfy, and the food on site is good as well. Breakfast is decent. We decided to stay one more night because it was so lovely. The garden is awesome with so many types of flowers, and they take care of it so nicely. You also get an amazing sunset view from the upper pool—don’t miss it. You can rent a scooter directly from them, and they also offer trips to see dolphins and provide a free shuttle to the city. Thank you for this stay. We will recommend it and hopefully be back one day.

The property is stunning and the service is equivalent. The perfect place to properly rest. The gardens in the property are spectacular and the hosts make you feel comfortable and go above and beyond. Definitely worth the money!

Alamanda is a stunning hidden gem.I love everything about it. Great staff too! Surrounded by serenity, greenery, and its own botanic garden, I couldn't help but feel I was in Europe. If one is looking for peace away from the maddening crowd, please choose Alamanda. It's absolutely beautiful. Stay for a minimum of 2 nights. 1 is not enough. Lastly, the rooms don't come with a TV or mini fridge. It's best suited for singles, couples, groups of friends. Not ideal for kids. Selfishly, a huge plus for me.

Amazing location - the shuttle service meant getting into and back from Lovina was straightforward. Beautiful grounds - really stunning garden setting and fantastic pools. Lovely rooms - very comfortable and well equipped. Friendly staff - nice, helpful and attentive.

We felt the one thing that was lacking was a strong food offering. Basic breakfast was fine, and the shuttle into Lovina meant we could get lunch and dinner there, but a good kitchen/restaurant on site would have made leaving unnecessary for entire days at a time, which would be bliss in such a gorgeous environment!
