I has really appreciated the quiet, green surroundings and the cozy, homey atmosphere. The garden was beautiful and well-kept, and I absolutely loved the friendly cat,Kitty– she made the place feel even more welcoming. The staff were very kind and helpful, always available when I needed something. The breakfast was generous and tasty, and there are a small shop, a restaurant, and a money exchange just a short walk away, which was really convenient. It was a pleasant and relaxing stay.

A few things could be improved: the road leading to the property is in quite bad condition, which made arrival a bit difficult. The mosquito net around the bed wasn’t clean, and there was no safe in the room. Also, I could hear guests in the neighboring bungalows when they talked loudly or played music – but at night it was quiet and peaceful.

I stayed at 221 Garden Cottages while solo travelling in Nusa Lembongan and had such a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful, always available if I needed anything or had questions about the island. The cottage itself was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. I loved the peaceful garden setting. Everything was well taken care of and felt thoughtfully designed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend 221 Garden Cottages to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and welcoming place to stay on the island.

The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi being out for a day due to a thunderstorm, but that was completely outside their control.

221 Garden Cottages was one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. The grounds were beautiful, tranquil and SO private. It felt like you were in your own little haven. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were beautifully kept. The pool was fabulous. The best part of all though, were the staff. Yogi, Gusti and crew were so accommodating, friendly, and wanted to do everything in their power to make it as comfortable as they possibly could for you. We would go back there if not for the actual accomodation, just to see these guys. Thank you 221 Garden Cottages for the best 5 nights ever.

Our aircon did trip a couple of times but this was rectified by staff as quickly as they possibly could.

221 Garden Cottages is a beautiful, quiet property just outside the main area of Mushroom Bay. Gusti and all the staff were warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived, always ready to help make our stay memorable with any request we had, from bike rentals to tours to ferry tickets off the island. I can't recommend them enough. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were always satisfying, and Ketty, their kitty cat is super friendly and cute as a button. Great property, great people, great stay. Thank you, everyone, at 221!!

The management staff were really kind and extremely helpful! The room was comfortable, great bed and extra details had been thought of such as travel adaptors in the room and a stocked ( mini bar)fridge. They were happy to help with queries and attended to the garden and communal areas regularly.. it was such a peaceful and restful place to stay only a short walk from the beaches. We were made to feel very welcome:)

Every single thing! I was greeted with a refreshing cold towel and a delicious fruit drink, The rooms were well appointed even a mini bar! The room was big with tall ceilings and beautiful art on the walls. The bed was so comfortable and the gardens were pristine all around the pool. The staff were lovely and inviting. I stayed here 9 days and when I come back this is the only place I will stay!

They thought of everything so there was nothing to dislike

Very cozy place. Owner and staff ist very very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, big and with everything you need equipped (even a hairdryer is available). Aircon worked pretty well. Pool is very nice to just hang out. Free water refill available as well scooter rental. My scooter wasn’t working one day while I was at dream beach, I called the owner and after 10 minutes there came already someone to help me. Very very nice and trustful. Thank you again!

Well, these loud geckos everywhere (I changed the room cause I had one in my bathroom directly sitting in the wall which was unbelievable loud and I couldn’t sleep the whole first night - but as well here the owner and staff did everything possible that the gecko went away and I felt comfortable, unfortunately without success the first night haha) and the other animals who wake you up very early in the morning (chickens and dogs). Bring earplugs and you are fine I think.

Absolutely Fantastic Stay – Clean, Comfy, and Great Value We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything felt well taken care of. The location was ideal—close to everything but still peaceful. For the price, it’s honestly one of the best value stays we’ve had. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free, relaxing place to stay.

Everything. Gusty& Wayan are such lovely boys. They really looked after me for 2 weeks. After a hard day it was so nice to come home to a clean cool pool too. Special place forever a great memory in my heart.

The road was terrible. Full of potholes and gravel and big stones everywhere. But once you get there it’s worth it.

221 Garden Villas have the most lovely and friendly staff. The rooms are generous and have a large bathroom with each villa, the beds are very comfortable with a mosquito net to protect you when you sleep. Very clean facilities and a lovely pool to cool off from the hot Lembongan sun.

Not a fault at all of the villas but there is a couple of local roosters in the mornings nearby, so bring earplugs if youre a light sleeper
