Room was not properly cleaned unfortunately, this is not what you would expect for such a hotel

Stay here every time when I come to West coast, Staffs always friendly here, Cindy & Benny always helpful.

A bar in the hotel was missing.

The people working at reception, waiters and the cleaning staff were super friendly. We enjoyed the Starbucks cafe and the club lounge was really good. The gardens and courtyard was kept beautifully and we loved stroling along the path in the garden towards the beach.

The service from the chefs during buffets was not always helpful. When I asked assistance from the chefs during the breakfast and dinner buffet they ignored me. I spoke loud enough, and I could tell they heard me but they didn't reply because they couldn't understand English, after this the person turned their back on me to do something else. I hope in future if they can't understand a customer they will call someone who can help the customer. This happened 3 times during our stay. The reception and waiters were very friendly and helpful but the chefs weren't so welcoming.

was very good the reception manager mr. Matthew Meng, support me a lot because laundry not available my credit card not possible to use it due by their bank problem.

Not possible to use credit card, no laundry available, the reception manager help me to was laundry outside required two days. Chinese restaurant the last day a real disaster, slow service, 50% of menu not available, really not good to invite gust or customer.

Not a 5 stars hotel, No room service for food, restaurants terrible, one of them (out of 2) not open for lunch during the week, no replacement amenities, hard, noisy, disturbing works at lobby during daytime with diesel machine in operation in the lobby, no possibility to talk with GM, lack of staff (declared by the management). That happened during one of the most important internatonional events in Qingdao!

Only positive things about this resort is it’s location and willingness of girls from reception to help.

The dirtiest rooms we have ever seen. We paid 500 EUR for only 3 nights, this is a 5-star hotel and we could not expect such dirty rooms. NOBODY except reception girls speaks English, even simple words. Breakfast had a very low variety of European food. No room service. Pools are dirty. On the 2nd day of our stay they closed 1 out 2 pools for a “maintenance” and never opened it again. I would like to highlight again - this is a 5-star hotel with a decent price. Never in our lives we will go there again and we highly DO NOT recommend anyone to stay there. Even in Shanghai we got a much much better hotel for a lower price. CLEAN hotel, unlike this one. Sea was OK, but there were some waves and a lifeguard did not let us swim in any of the days. Beach is not equipped with anything except couple of umbrellas.
