The breakfast was fantastic — so many options, and everything tasted great. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Every part of the hotel, including our room, was spotless. I requested fresh towels daily, and they not only provided them but also made the bed each day. The views from our room, the restaurant, and the Sky Spa were absolutely breathtaking. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, relaxing in the Sky Spa’s large bath with that amazing view was the perfect way to unwind.

The only slight downside was the location — while the hotel itself was wonderful, getting to places like the Children’s Museum, USJ, or Kobe required changing trains and took quite a bit of time.

The hotel is connected to the train station through a series of underground shopping malls. When the malls are open, it makes travel to and from the train station easy and comfortable. The quality of the hotel and rooms are exemplary. The views of the city below are breathtaking. The room was very comfortable and the staff was polite, professional and extremely helpful. We tried the breakfast and found it to be diverse enough for the American palate. It was also an affordable option.

Absolutely nothing.

Great location, very close to the station. It seems far, but it actually doesn’t take make to commute to either Osaka (35 min) or Kyoto (45 min). We also went to Nara Park in around 1 hour. It’s a great place if you wanted to do both city without changing hotels multiple times. Facility was absolutely stunning! Beautiful room, clean and very big, especially compared to other hotel rooms in Japan. Amenities included in the price. Highly recommended!

Hard to find with just google maps. It took us quite some time to figure out where it was due to ongoing construction that cut the road and from google maps you could not really go around it. The best way to find it is to find the closest 7/11 close to the Hirakatashi station, and go through the open garage of the mall. You’ll see an illuminated star (Candeo’s logo). You could also go through the mall from the station, but why not stop at 7/11 in any case.

Perfect location to visit the area. The station is close, the mall is closer, and the room was fantastic. It was very comfortable and spacious. The view was amazing and the spa was perfect. Breakfast was very good too with lots of options for all sorts of tastes. The night staff was super friendly and gave me some good options for dinner and drinks. Laundry was very convenient.

The robe for spa was not made for taller/bigger guys but it was fine.

The room was well furnished and had a great Toto toilet! I had added the breakfast option, and it was great! Next door to the Hirakata station in Osaka and above the Hirakata mall with many food options available. I did not try the spa, but those who did said it was also very nice.

Great location right next to the train station. The room and hotel were very high quality and the spa was excellent.

Still a bit far away from the main city but the location of the train station made it bearable.

The entire hotel has amazing views of Osaka / Hirakata. Breakfast was good and had a beautiful view. Rainfall shower was great. Room was large for price. View from the room was nice, fridge was good size. Decorations were nice as well.

Beautiful hotel and super modern

Perhaps this hotel is more suited to domestic clients as staff’s English was poor. Also, despite language issues, staff at times were on the rude side which was very unusual in our experience in Japan.

This hotel was very handy to train and restaurants. Staff were friendly and super helpful.

Nothing really negative but breakfast was a little expensive.

The hotel was brand new and the view was amazing

The spa policy does not allow tattoos. I am an American and this kept me from enjoying the public spa area. vvv The hotel did give me a private bath in the room which made my stay worthwhile
