The noise of the stairs

The room was spacious and very clean and there was a complimentary bottle of water. The decor was old-style but everything worked and was in good condition. The town is nice and there is a good bar opposite, and restaurants nearby.

I had trouble getting in as they don't have anyone on reception. I messaged and he rang back fairly quickly, then arrived within 20 minutes. There is no breakfast or meal option here. The parking lot free but it is not at the hotel, it is a couple of minutes walk down the street.

The room was big enough to sleep and work comfortably. The hotel is well located, only 5mn walk from the local train station. The building is traditional and the street is calm. There are plenty of shops in the area.

There was direct ventilation from the bathroom to the outside, impossible to close it. Therefore it was cold in the bathroom and one could hear the noise of the traffic, which isn't good considering the price. It would have been good to have a boiler in the room too.

Location was great very central and close to trains

Very difficult to bring suitcases up the stairs. TV had no channels. There was no way to access reception at check out and no staff around so had to leave keys and exit through the back door

It was very loud, the reception didn't pay attention at all, I couldn't sleep even for an hour.
