The motel exceeded our expectations and was a nice home away from home for our week in Haines Junction. The room was very clean and comftorable. The kitchenette was well equipped and allowed us to make our own meals which was useful. Breakfast provided and left in fridge each day was great - cereal, yogurt, english muffins, eggs, milk. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Each day we would go sit outside after visiting Kluane and take in the view of the mountains.

Everything was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. Very nice decor, clean, comfortable. Great little stocked fridge. Cabinets had some oatmeal and dry cereal. Coffee was appreciated, as well as cream and sugar. Short walk to the room from the parking area and also no stairs. Extremely comfy bed and very quiet nights sleep for us!

I didn’t care for the fact that I had to wash dishes or be charged. Also that means the dishes I would eat off of were washed most likely by the last occupant. This didn’t sit right with me, so I pre washed my dishes anyway. Also the milk in the fridge had a broken seal and I felt odd about using it. I didn’t bring it up because it was super early and we needed to hit the road. For the price I would expect a little more than juice boxes. Bottled juice would have left a much better impression.

From the photos, I expected more of a standard highway motel, but this is really more like a small, personalized B&B experience. There are lovely handcrafted quilted accents throughout the room and of course the stocked up kitchen full of breakfast treats gave us lots of choice for different breakfasts each day. Comfy beds, great water pressure in the shower, and a lovely soaker tub to ease the muscles after long days of hiking.

The room was very clean and quiet. Check in was simple, even though we arrived after the host had gone home. The host thought of everything for our own "in room breakfast". We liked the personal touch with the handmade curtains and table covers, etc. The room was modern, but the decor made it very "homey" feeling. The area is a safe area and going for walks in this beautiful area was wonderful.

The room was very clean and comfortable for two people and even had a couch. The breakfast was a great touch and they had all the items necessary to cook your own meals if you wanted. We would definitely stay there again.

It was more expensive than the other inns we looked at, but for the cleanliness, comfort, and breakfast included, it was probably worth it.

Clean and cosy, very homely feel. Plenty of space, great little kitchenette with everything you might need to cook a basic meal. Breakfast provided in our fridge with eggs and English muffins, cereal, milk and juice. I slept so well I didn't want to get out of bed! Only wish we had more than one night here, it was lovely.

Very hard to find something we didn't like, but maybe a fan for the room would be good... my partner likes a cool room to sleep

It was more than a standard plain room. For the price, it was really large, nicely decorated, and had “above and beyond” amenities, such as, breakfast groceries in the fridge, induction burners, microwave, Kuerig. Instructions for each room feature were succinctly printed and framed, so there was k no o hassle trying to figure anything out. The location was great - walking distance to dinner and bakery. Flower pots on the sun deck with super comfortable chairs and little beverage tables and spectacular view of mountains. The owner obviously pays attention to detail.

Fantastic view. Great location to stay to get to the National park. Good kitchen facilities, would recommend buying food in a supermarket and bringing to cook your own as there are 2 restaurants, both of which aren’t great. Staff made it easy to check in after operating hours although weren’t there when we got there during so didn’t really make a difference. Good size room and big bed. Breakfast selection was pretty varied, eggs, English muffin, yogurt, cereal and juice all provided within your room.

Missing a few little bits from the kitchen that would be handy but not essential, eg a bread knife. The parking instructions aren’t overly clear, I think a little note with instructions (illustrations) would be helpful but didn’t have any issues so not a huge problem, maybe more so if it had been full. Wifi is limited but we were barely in the room to use it so not a huge issue.

Our room at Parkside Inn was just amazing and far exceeded our expectations! In such a remote area, we didn't expect to find such a gem! We have stayed at many places, and this is right up there in our top five! The room was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and was well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was the perfect overnight stop for our travel plans. The room was just so surprisingly nice that we wish we could have stayed longer!

There is nothing that we didn't like.

The location was great. Loved the extra touches wit seating outside to watch the sunset or eat outside. Breakfast was a surprise that you had it in your room already.

Would be nice to have a full length mirror in bathroom somewhere. The bed did squeak a bit on left side. Maybe check the frame.
