Room looked recently redone and was spacious with a nice size bathroom. Our room faced the harbour and was a nice quiet area. We had a few comfortable chairs to sit outside in the evening. The room was equipped with the usual coffee pot,tea kettle, cups, plates ,fridge, toaster and a microwave. Several barbecues were available for guests. Note: There was a ramp outside and the shower was equipped for anyone with mobility concerns. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay.
No sink to clean dishes. No store near by or place to eat. We had to go to another place called (saint lunaire-griquet)27 kms away to eat, get supplies and gas.

Comfortable, clean, spacious. Lovely view Appreciated the dishes and cutlery that you don't usually get in a standard hotel room. Had a good mini fridge with a proper freezer and access to a BBQ complete with tools. Good location for visiting L'Anse aux Meadows
It is a bit isolated but this wasn't a surprise as this was mentioned in other reviews. A good 25 minute drive to St Anthony if you need groceries.

The location— a little off the beaten track, but well located for visiting Lance aux Meadows, iceberg tours from St. Anthony and the incredible experience of walking on Burnt Cape. The suites are very cute, finished in knotty pine and well equipped. No noise from the suites above and beside.
Nothing, but we felt the description on booking.com was inadequate. We expected a much less private and cozy accommodation than we got.

This location was great to take a trip into St Anthony one day and L'Anse aux Meadows on a second day. Right in the middle, about 25 min drive to each. We were in the Polar Bear room. It has a nice sliding glass door with two comfy chairs so you can relax and look out at the water. There is a fire pit stocked with wood and chairs to sit around at night located right across the street. As for the rooms, there is BBQ's on the deck, mini fridge, coffee, micro wave, toaster, and kettle. Very well equipped.

Very nice space in the two-bedroom suite. It was quite comfortable for our family of four. Made some new friends after we lit a fire in the firepit right on the water. The next morning an otter jumped out of the water right outside the hotel! Great kitchen space to make our own meals and nice table with a water view to eat, bring your groceries with you, there is a small store in town, but limited on inventory. But that is what to expect in such a beautiful, remote space.

A bit remote but nice waterfront setting. Handmade quilt on the bed was a nice touch. Interesting bone and soapstone carvings on site. Enjoyed the waterfront firepit and chairs. It was nice to have a kitchen. The suite was super clean! Saw an iceberg just down the bay!
It’s about 30 mins by car to get groceries etc. Not an issue if you come prepared.

The view of the bay directly across the road, loved the bathroom and the fresh newness of the suite/kitchenette. The friendliness of staff and the other guests staying there was great - welcoming and refreshing. Lovely community.
The thin walls between suites - unfortunately being a light sleeper, our neighbour was a loud snorer waking me up way too early - fortunately it was only for the one night. It was damp/ humid in the suite. Any clothes that were folded on the floor were damp and my cap hanging on the hook on the wall was too damp for me to wear. Thinking vapour barrier is needed. The bathroom towels never did completely dry once used.

Bbq was a bonus. We were able to make a few dinners while there. Good coffee maker and microwave fridge with freezer Toaster. While on the road it was nice to have to go to a restaurant for a change.
It worked out fine using the facilities for meals but a heads up that was the case we would have been better prepared.

This is a great surprise in almost every way from the oceanfront location in a very small outport town to the modern rooms with everything you needed including dishes and cutlery even though they do not have kitchen facilities. BBQs are available on the wrap around porch for guest use The beds have to be one of the best we have ever experienced with exceptional bedding including unique quilts on each bed. This place is remote so restaurants can be challenging with regularly open ones being in St Anthony about 30kms away. Best to bring food and use the available BBQs or in room microwave.

Beautiful surrounding, with shoreline right outside the house. Not far a drive to key sightseeing locations - L'Anse Aux Meadows, etc., restaurants, and more. Clean comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Friendly helpful staff.
Practically nothing to dislike. The whole family loved the stay. One suggestion may be to have a dish drying rack with draining tray to make dish washing more efficient.
