Liked the location and the view and it was very clean and friendly people.
The thing we didn't like was about not being able to have a campfire even though we saw it on the website and it was in the pictures. We also didn't realize there was a hot tub on the property for use. But that could have been us not reading details. All in all totally not a big deal and would not affect us staying there again if given opportunity. It was a great stay!!

The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We had spent a full day at L'Anse aux Meadows and Norstead, and the Viking Motor Lodge was fairly close to both and on our way out the next morning. The view of the bay was nice, and if the rain had subsided in time, we would've enjoyed the Adirondack chairs and fire pit.
The lodge is located on a gravel road in the boondocks, but we were able to find it. I thought it was just a little pricey compared to hotels in the nearby town of St. Anthony.

The cabins are bright, comfortable and clean. Loved the colourful doors, decor and furnishings. Arriving to an offer of a home cooked meal was a godsend. To be served one of the best fish & chip meals I’ve ever had and a delicious, juicy moose burger, an absolute treat.
It was a little tricky to find.

Awesome place, the view is beautiful. The owner was very kind and friendly. Even made me a burger. When I got there I was very tired and he took good care of me. Seriously I was very impressed with is kindness and had some very good chat. Definitely will recommend this place.

Location was good once we found it- don't go by google maps unless location has been updated. Call the owner for directions.
Continental breakfast- juice, cereal, bread and muffins eggs would be nice!!! Small room- table with 2 chairs and nowhere to put luggage

The TV was useless because it didn’t have any channels, only one that was not good.
